Good Morning All!  Happy Veterans Day!  Everyone should hug at least ONE veteran today and thank them for their service.  I know I am.  Today I am taking my foster son Brandt and his buddy Kenny out to lunch.   They each did 5 years in the marines with 3 tours over in Iraq   So, today we're lunching at Olive Garden. 

I'm off today and have a bunch of stuff to do.  I am up and showered and the girls have had their cookies and are in the kennel.  I've got to run get blood work done, get a manicure and buy dog food. 

Mom sent me an awsome present.  Size 16 Levi 550's.  They fit sooooooo incredible it's amazing!  She told me in 2 weeks 2 pair of size 14's will show up.  Love that mommy!  I need to update my ticker and my avitar today.  My face is so skinny now.........

Joe's sleeping cuz he worked last night so I'll go run do my stuff until he wakes up.  Have fun today kids!

I must say that as I get older this day has alot more meaning for me.  Coming from WA state and much smaller towns, this day was always celebrated.  My dad was a veteran and mom was very active in the VFW axilliary.  In fact, I got out some of her pins and Perry and I are both wearing them today in respect. My know my dad's grave has a flag on it.  I used to buy the red poppies in fron of stores, but I do not seem to find them in SoCal  . 
Anyway, we are working today.  Except it to be slow and relaxing.  Thinking about letting the cats come down to the office for loving!!

Good morning Janine and Happy Veteran's Day to you and the Cali Crew. I am remembering my dad. He was in the Air Force during the Korean War. I am also thinking of my son's best friend, Chris,  who is in the Marines and on his second tour in Iraq. This is such a hard day for Military families. I've said it before and I'll say it again: If you can't stand behind our military personnel, please feel free to stand in front of them. Prayer, love and many thank yous go out to our military personnel all over the world and their families for their heartfelt sacrifices.

Hey everyone, not much up today I am still in San Jose but not feeling well at all. I went to Stanford and my Urologist will be doing surgery on my bladder again on the 10th of the December.

To all the Vets out there...Thanks!!! And we love you.
