Wedding cake??

I am starting to plan a wedding for next summer and am wondering what to do about wedding cake! I am 1 year out now and am still pretty intolerant to sugar, I can handle just about 7grams before I get that icky feeling. My question is what have any of you done or seen and is it possible the bride can still enjoy her wedding cake at least a little?

According to my little knowlege and tons of study..lol, make sure your little tummy is filled with protein when you take your small BITE of cake, sans frosting if possible.  Other than the little I know, you will recieve tons of helpful hints over the next year..

Make part of it a sugar free cake!  I've made them and they're good!   There are a zillion ways to make things taste great without sugar

First off- CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Last I knew, you and Mr. Right were just on your first date! Now, you're getting married??? I am soooooooooooooo excited for you!!!

Second- I don't really know any ideas for wedding cake, but I'm sure it can be done!!! Try [email protected]. He designed my wedding cake and he said he can do ANYTHING. Great cake and great decorations!

Third- OMG! You look freaking fantastic! Seriously woman, you look absolutely beautiful! I hope that terrific daughter of yours is doing well and I really look forward to seeing you guys again soon! I think it's time for another Chevy's get-together!

APRIL YOU LOOK AWESOME!!!!! Yes we need another get together very soon, Marylouise and I have talked about it some but we need to actually make it happen!
Thank you very much too! Yes things have moved fairly quickly but since we have known each other since we were babies its not really as fast as it seems.

I got a great suggestion of having a regular cake for guests and SF for myself and other non-sugar people which would actually be a few other guests that I hope to be there...I just love that idea!

Either one, although this coming sat (the 15th I think it is) would be better as I THINK we have folks in town the weekend after Thanksgiving? I can make it work though! LOL
