Y'know what I love about coming here?  We can all relate (usually) to each others fears and concerns as we go thru this process.  Anyhow, so with that said, Tim and I thought about going to Mickey Mouse' house in the middle of Dec (our anniversary is 12/15) and I haven't been to D'land during Christmas (the decorations!!) in forever.  I haven't been on a ride there that I'd have to worry about not fitting in in about that long as well.  So, my question for you guys, is there a way for me to know that I won't have any issues on any of the rides?  Is there a website anyone knows of?  I'm definitely smaller on top now, but still curvy in the bum!  LOL  I wish they still sold a general admission ticket there..bah!  Thanks guys!  xo  Kim

Hi I just went to Disneyland on Oct 17th and had a blast!!! I went on every ride and didn't have a problem with fitting this time. I do recommend bringing your own snacks and water b/c you want to eat every 2 to 3 hrs so not to feel weak. I think you should do fine.

I was at Disneyland over 20 years ago and weighed around 320 and I got on all the rides back then.  I am sure you are not going to have any problems at all.  I am bottom heavy too, and I certainly would go and not worry about anything, you should be just time.  Have a great time.

Hugs, Diane

Oh Kim, you have nothing to worry about. I was there in July weighing in over 325lbs and I fit on all the rides I went on. Even Star Tours has very longgggggg strectching seat belts and I had plenty of room to get thrown to and fro as we battled the Empire in Space!!!

There is one ride I did not go on was the Nemo Sub ride. Last time I went on that I was 18 (currently 30) and I was about 220 then and I was uncomfortable then so I didn't even attempt it. That also comes with a bit of clausterphobia so I'm sure you'll have no problem!

I'm going back in January after the Holiday rush and the kids are back in school!!! Wahooooo No lines and no stroller brigade!!! hehe

Have a wonderful time and take pics. I've never seen the holiday decorations!!!

Thanks Shelley!  I feel much better now!  I probably wouldn't even go on the sub ride even at a goal weight as I do have a bit of claustrophobia...is it possible to have a bit of that?  LOL

I can't read your ticker for the life of me, so not sure how much you weigh now.  I went a few weeks ago and was 199 and fit nicely on EVERYTHING!!  :)  It was wonderful.

Have a great time and don't forget the Haunted Mansion, it's all decked out with Nightmare Before Christmas!!  It's awesome!!

Have fun!

Kim,  I want to go!   I went on my honeymoon to Disneyland!  We had a blast!   I have that same fear as you have.  But isn't it funny that we some how have lost the reality of our size.  Last night I was at IKEA and we went and got a little snack in there restruant.  Last time I was there the chairs were tiny and tight on my butt.  I was expecting that same thing yesterday, but nope I had room to spare and it was a wonderful feeling!  I just loved it.  You are going to have ablast.  Miss you girl and can't wait to see you at Tom's.

Love Ya
