Welcome to the WEEKEND!!! And on top of that, Welcome to the beautiful Saturday morning.

Unlike so many of you lucky dogs, I have to work this weekend. UGH! But I am happy to have a job, after hearing about how many are with out a job, its sad. I have always said, I LOVE my job, but HATE the hours, and that is still true.

Yesterday, my sister and I went to Oak Glen, and spent the day. OMG did we have a great day. Just wondering around, looking and touching everything. I think we walking about 5 miles, most of it up hill. If you have never been, you should truly take a day and go. There is so much to see and do, one day is really no enough time but a great start. We are already talking about going again. The last time we where there was with my dad, about 6 months after my mom past away. I didn’t remember going, until we go there. We laughed about things we where doing with my dad and we could see and hear him telling us stuff as we walked around. Just like he was there with us still.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell ya all, I got my medal from Long Beach yesterday. it’s a very nice square medal, but it truly was not the same opening the envelope and getting the medal as when they put it around you neck, but at least I got it. Right?

So what do you have planned for this weekend? Are you going to get out and move that beautiful body of your? The weather should be nice and great for being out doors.

OH, I almost forgot to let you know, that my guess speaker will NOT be at Toms farm after all. This dork gave the wrong date, and she is already booked for the 15^th. This is my fault, I gave her the wrong info, but I have high hopes that she will be able to make it to a support group meeting soon.
