Does anyone know how good they are with approving surgery. This will be my new insurance.

I didn't have them for my surgery, but I have them now, and my policy is EXCELLENT!  But, companies also put restictions on surgeries, ect. You may want to discuss it with your HR manager so see if your company has any exclusions.  Or talk with someone at your surgeon's office.

I actually called them today gave them my employers group number and was told it is a covered benefit. But I thought it was weird how I went on their website and when I tried searching for doctors in california I could not find nothing. I tried searching for their requirements had no luck either do you know where I can find it.

It's covered if you fulfill the requirements. I didn't need to do the six month deal due to my medical documentation of diet attempts over the past 20 years. I was approved in less than 10 days.

Your company must be based in another state like NY  in the state
of california Blue Cross and Blue Shield are separate so you will
need to find out who will be handling it here and that is why you
could not find a doctor you need to look on Anthem Blue Cross in
Ca and Blue  Shield on their websites.   But like I stated contact
your carrier and find out where claims are sent and that will determine
which carrier you need to look at to find that doctor.   I have a medical billing service
and have been in the insurance field for over 30 years.
