BariatricTV launches 10/31
Hi y'all...
I have been a member of OH since sometime in 2003. Had my surgery in November of 2003 and couldn't have survived without the support of OH and all of you. I spent HOURS and HOURS reading profiles and looking at before and after pictures wishing and dreaming that 'someday' it would be me. Well - five years later and I am still maintaining my weight loss and doing things I never would have thought I would do.
One of those 'things' is BariatricTV. A friend and I are launching this podcast on October 31st. We will be doing weekly episodes about all things Bariatric.
Please take a look.. We would love feedback and ideas of what YOU want to know more about. And if you are offended by the "...Freak" subtitle - we explain our reasoning in the very first episode.

Thanks mucho!

Couldn't get it to work, but great concept. I bet OH is ticked off at you and will soon be asking for royalties!! They are "for profit" and don't play games. They are more business directed than being there to help people. Some things I would like to see...what to take to the hospital pre op. Also what to sneak into the hospital for any post op issues (hospitals have no clues what your needs are post op...they look at you like your from Mars). Going through all the different vitamins would be good...really going through them, like the symptoms of lack of B-12. Post op...which foods work and why. Reviewing things like the Stomphyx procedure. What to take and eat on the road. Which fast foods work (Wendi's Chili)...and which don't. I could go on and on...PS, strictures, carbs, sugar, exercise...even take from the list of OH forums and run with it. Good luck, Brian
Hey Brian... If OH has a problem with me posting about this - they know where to find me. I used to do a lot of volunteering for OH back in the day - so they all know me. :-)
Great suggestions on topics.. Our third episode (I believe) covers some fast food options post surgery.
Thanks so much for the response.
If you couldn't get the video at the bariatricTV site to run try out the ones on youtube..
