Good Monday Morning Cali

Good afternoon Neen and Cali crew!!! Janine, the mural is FANTABULOUS and BEAUTIFUL with a word in front of both of these words that I can't use here!!!  lol You are so talented and should be so proud! I know Laura is looking down from Heaven with a HUGE smile beaming on her face!!! GIRLFRIEND!!!!

So, can you say kicking my butt?!! That is what working after not for the past 2 years is doing to me!!! lol  My feet are dying and I am so exhausted!! I came back to bed today after taking Tara to school and set an alarm for 2 hours, had my hubby call me a half hour after that to make sure I was up and slept an hour beyond his call too!!! lol
But, I LOVE the job, it is soooooo much fun!!!! I'm already getting compliments on how smiley and friendly I am and customers thinking I am the boss standing next to a newbie, instead of the other way around! hee hee    I have done the computer a bit on my own, a lot to learn, but it will come!!! All the people I work with are so great and helpful and I know I'm going to fit right in!!! The biggest challenge for me will be getting use to having this new found confidence to do the greeting parts of the job. I feel safe behind the counter, but out mingling with the guests and being outgoing is something new to me and will take some practice!

I'm so looking forward to this weekend and seeing all you great peeps who are going to be in LA for the fun convention!! I am so going to be ready to PARTAY after 7 straight days of work!

Please know I am at least reading and trying to keep up with everyone's news and trying to post when I can. It will take me a bit to get use to this new routine and having to squeeze OH time in somewhere! Can you say WITHDRAWALS??? lmao

MY weekend was NOT low key unfortunately.  I was addicted to the unfolding drama.  But i sit with new resolve today to not obsess over it and am retiring my detective hat.  Its driving me insane!!  Conspiriacy theories, suspicions... whew.  MY DH had to literally pull me away from the computer over the weekend.  Anyway besies that I managd to get in a movie and go to the mall for fun.  They had a lot of cute costumes out and about.  I found a perfect t shirt but will have to go back and get it bc the line was wayyyyy long.  And I dont have line patience :)

Well it's a little past morning!  But Happy Monday.  Janine - hope your fingers/hands are getting better!

Did I tell you we got a new doggy?  She is a German Shepherd mix named Mandy.  We got her almost a year ago..  Great doggy!  I remember how much Katie loved Maggie so we decided on a big dog (not that Katie is ever here - now that she drives she is always GONE GONE GONE)
