I'm glad you are doing well.  Each day will get better and better.  I am just over 2 weeks out and feel pretty good.  I still get tired but overall feel good.  I still am working on getting in fluids and protien but it gets better all the time. Take care and rest.   Melissa

Kim, am so glad to hear that you are doing well.  Wow you did it!!!   Can't wait to get mine done.   Am sure you will be up and about really soon.  You sound like you are feeling so much better now that you are home.   Did you tell the doctor that you were allergic to the wound covering?   I know that is uncomfortable my son had another type of surgery and he is also allergic and it was not pretty when they pull those things out, but after they changed them he was fine.   I know you are happy to be out of the hospital.  Good luck let us know about your progress.

Yeah!  She's home!!  I feel so bad that I wasn't around when you called me both times!  Bad angel!  LOL  You're going to feel so much better back in your own bed!  That's the biggest thing I wanted...your daughter was so sweet when she called.  I told her to give you a kiss and a hug from us...lol  Take good care!  xo  Kim

Kim,

So glad you are home and doing well.  Hopefully, each day will be a bit better than the previous and before you know it surgery itself will be a distant memory.

Take care,

Dawna

Thank you all for your kind notes..it is beautifully overwhelming.  I definately feel better, not great, but better  My tummy looks like a battlefield with all the blisters I got from the hospital bandaids,  I didn't tell them I was allergic because i didn't know they were going to use a covering on the staples.  I was only asked if i was allergic to any meds.  I don't know what product is in the bandaids that makes me blister up..I thought  that all latex products were banned, yet I do not think it is latex that I am sensitive too.  humm..must study that one.
Ok..time for bed and another good nights sleep...yeahhhh
Good nite California..chat to you all tomorrow
