Yep it is that time of weekend to jump on your scales for Whacky Weigh In Wednesdays!!!
You know the drill....post them numbers...it is getting closer and closer to the end of the year where Steve is going to post the numbers he has gathered all year....wow it ought to be super impressive!
Do hide because you might have gained either....remember we are all here for support....so pounds gang...how do you feel about yourself...how do those clothes fit? Its all good!!
I have not weighed, but I know I looked good in those junior black dickies last night at the board meeting where a former colleague said to me...wow Janine....you look so different and I said what...skinny??? He was like yeahhhhhhhh!!! Made me feel good! Also made me feel good that I was interviewed by the news channel about the strife between we the union and the negoiations...it was awesome! Long interview too!

Gotta love those skinny comments huh Janine? They never really get old when you run into someone who hasn't seen you in a while. And BTW what news channel was the reporter from? Was it local or might it be one of the LA stations? Would love to see you on air lady!

Hey how are the winds out your way? I hear the Santa Ana's are going to kick up. There is a fire somewhere in the Rancho Cucamonga area....I hope it does not get bad.
I am sure happy to hear that you are maintaining your weight dude. I think that is so friggin awesome because I sure do worry about you sometimes.
BTW...Scott from the boards and I went to Ross's last night....dang he is down into a loose 36 pants! How friggin cool is that? You are going to be greatly surprise at how different he ooks from when you met him too. I am really happy for Scott and all that he is accomplishing in school right now!

I have been meaning to ask you Steve....have you seen those smart slates for computers? I have one that the school got in a grant for all of us teachers. It is like an electronic whiteboard. I am using it right now to make the yearbook cover. It has this pen thing and you just look at your computer screen and follow the curser. You do not look at the whiteboard. It is wicked cool as I have been using it in photoshop. It is much easier to do cut in work and all kinds of stuff because of the usage of a pen whereas you do not get the control with a mouse! Technology I say sheeeeeeeeeeesh!!! 
Oh yeah and in SF yesterday they unveiled for sale the new Google phone...says it is supposed to be a strong seller next to the iPhone....we will see...MAC still rules! (and no Jean I am not talking about makeup 
) You know I never got an iPhone because they did not have bluetooth.
You are going to laugh when I tell you this....I bought a new phone and was doing my toes outside on the patio...well I went to grab the bottle of acetone and knocked over all my new phone that I had for all of 2 hours. I thought it was okay...ate the finish off...I was sick about it until I realized that I could not hear anyone talking. Well I called Nextel where I bought it and they said bring it in...they had to pry the battery out to get my SIM card....which was not totally ruined....but it had even melted the plastic off the battery. Well they replaced it ONLY because they guys really felt sorry for me as they do not replace for wet damage for phones. Someone was looking over me that day!

Sounds like an awesome way to work in photoshop I am SURE. Mouse/Pen... now which would be easier to use to crop and variable line? Hummmm, let me think about that!
I saw the news on the Android platform for samrtphones and it does look interesting but, well, we'll just have to see. That G1 phone doesn't look so great to me but I'd really have to play with it hands on to know for sure. I still, to this day, couldn't be happier with my iPhone and Darrell, well, Darrell is even more enamoured of his than I am I do believe.
Don't know where you get the idea iPhones do not have bluetooth as they always have had it. On the other hand for you having Nextell service you couldn't have an iPhone... at least not yet. In other countries they aren't always locked into one carrier but here they are AT&T only. Which was fine for us since we'd been AT&T customers all along. Rumot hazzit that Apple will open it up to other carriers in a while, maybe 09 or 10. And that really was cool of Nextell to replace your phone when they didn't HAVE to. Very good customer service there J!
