Remember to drink your water today!  Yesterday (and today) there were great discussions about vitamins.  They are important to your survival and success.  So drink up your water.  Always keep it in your car, for when you are driving.  Keep it in reach at work.  As soon as you finish, go fill it up again.  This is a MUST habit everyone should develop.

Drink up!  And remember that someone out here loves ya!!

So here's my dillema; I can't stand the protein drinks, I drank them before surgery and it seemed to be okay, but after surgery they are just disgusting. So I discovered I can get my protein from milk and given that I love milk I drink at least 48 oz of milk everyday, thats 60grams of protein, not counting my latte if I have one. I also drink dilutted orange juice, and whatever food I eat get additional protein. But it's hard for me to get in the water too. What should I do?

I would say that you should have a water bottle with you at all times.  That is in your hand.  Sometimes we do not like the taste of water after surgery.  Adding lemon juice or a crystal light or propel packet will help with the water.  When first coming out of surgery- the rule of thumb was 1oz every 15 mins.  That is a nyquel cup size.  Just go slow and steady.  Each day is a new one to work on it.  It will come with time.  Just stay hydrated.

I drink a TON of crystal light and lipton to go green teas (my fave is Madarin Mango) zero calories and light enough to be water.  My nutritionist told me that she didn't care if all my water had crystal light in it as long as I'm drinking the water!
