I have an angel too

My Angel is MadameJoy she is so sweet. I do not know what I would do without her.

I was supposed to be having my surgery Tuesday, but after my Preop Dr visit I got a call they said there is a problem with the ins and they have to postpone. I did not get the message till after 5pm so I will not know what is going on till Monday the day before.

Anyway my DH has to request his time off well in advance so he has already got Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and the following Tuesday off for this. All this time comes out of his vacation time. So now if they do have to reschedule he may not be able to get it off.

So about my Angel Joy!!! She offered to drive from where sh lives which is over an hour or two from my home pick me up and drive back towards her home to Modesto and take me to my surgery then when I get released pick me up and bring me home. Now how is that for an Angel. I have never in my wildest dreams thought I would know someone like that. I have not even met her yet. Only talked to her on here.

She is truly a gift from God. I was blessed to have her answer my post for an Angel.

Hi Sue...I sure hope this setback resolves itself in a very short time.  I know the angui**** involves plus I know the time table regarding hubbies taking time off from work.  My husband is due to retire just 10 days after my WLS and he has to include time to take me to and from the doctors and hospitals...he is handling it like a prince though..but it too is cutting into vacation time that he would have received a check for.
We are lucky to have our Angels (waving at That KimGirl!! )  at such an important time in our lives.  I can truly say that outside of this website, I do not feel as cared for as a person..especially a person of weight, as I do here.  So many see the outside of our bodies, but here, members have been there done that already and know what we feel and who we are INSIDE...and we in turn can pass along the love, joy and companionship.  MadamnJoy..God Bless you and your kindness and compassion.

Isn't OH wonderful?!!!!  I can't even imagine this journey without this site and all the GREAT friends I've made here ~ both ones I've met and those here and across the country that I have yet to meet!!!
I'm so sorry about your delay! I know that sucks and causes problems, but remember everything happens for a reason and for whatever reason God put this speed bump in your path, it is a good one and it is ONLY that, a speed bump!!! You will be in my prayers that it all works out for you sweetie!

You are right, you do have a wonderful angel! Joy was my angel, and she drove all the way from Jamestown to visit me in the hospital, and then called me to check up on me! She has become a dear friend of mine, she is like a second mom!!
