Gripe of the Day...

Grrrrrr!!! Second week in a row that I have forgotten to post this, sorry. Ugh!! Been on the go all day. Ok, you know what to do. Get it out before the weekend. Rules?? Just one; NO names from the board. Get to it!!!

OK here it goes- I am upset with my doctor's office because they haven't submitted my paperwork to the insurance yet. We all know that after finishing all the requirements we want everything to keep moving....I want an answer like yesterday!!! So I called to see how things were going and they haven't even submitted. When I asked when they were going to submit she wouldn't give me a straight answer, only that there were several in front of me and I should be hearing from them in a couple of weeks....couple of weeks???..I am not that patient!!! : _ (

My Gripe is ...Modern day clothing size are so different than they were even 10 years ago. What was a size 16/18 then, is now a size 12 / 14 or so it seems .Today I put on a brand new pair of pants that were a 12 /14 and they are even a bet loose in the leg?? And I am still not in 1derland so that's got to tell us something. When I 27 years old I weighed 117 pounds and was wearing for the most part a size 9.. Now if I were to get to that weight I would be what.....a 2??? I just don't understand the sizing anymore. 12 years ago I was wearing a size 9 or 10 and weighed 135-140. This is going to be interesting...shopping in the future sizes.LOL

Thank for writing that because i thought maybe I was just crazy.... I think sizes are bigger too... maybe it has to do with more overweight kids.... I remember when i was in High School (many years ago before they invented fire) that i was the only fat girl in school and I weigh 160....Few years back i was dropping off my daughter and notice how chubby all the kids were... and I thought i would of rule this school... times they are a changing..

And when did they start making Juniors size 19??? That's a 20 to me no matter how you color it. And I agree, I go by the high school now and if I were there now I would have been ridiculed for being "shinny" I was 5'3 freshman year and 113 pounds oh and did I fail to mention I was 5 months pregnant!!! LOL Boy things have changed!!
But that is a totally diferent subject!!

Oh,OH, and why is it fine to call someone"skinny" but rude to call them "fat"?

My gripe of the day is my grouchy pouch!  I am tired of going to the bathroom and not being able to eat.
