It has been 3 months since I had my surgery and I am amazed at how different I am from 3 months ago.  I am down 67 pounds as of this morning and I feel absolutely wonderful.  I feel as though I have accomplished more in the last 3 months than I have in the last few years.  I am less depressed, more active and a better mommy to my son.  I enjoy life and what the future holds for me.  I know it may sound silly, but I am so happy to have my life back.
My confidence is coming back and I am beginning to take pride in myself again.  I am finally doing things that I never thought were even possible, like training for a marathon.

I love my RNY

Joy,
Thank you for being you and all your support.  You are always so kind.  For the first time in many years there is finally a light at the end of the road.  I remember always saying im going to lose weight and when I lose weight and if I lose the weight.  This time around I say it with confidence.  Because I know I will lose it!

Lola,

We have to meet.  I feel like I have known you for a lifetime.  Your posts are wonderful.  So positive and uplifting.  I am so happy for you.  Life is a struggle with the weight, so without it, you can concentrate on other or more important areas in your life.  Isn't wls grand?  You have your life back.

Kim
Without struggle, there is no progress.
