I am sure this happens to everyone at some point, but I don't know where else to turn.  Since last night I can't seem to make my tummy right.  I spent most of the day very close to the .  No matter what I eat I end up in the bathroom.  I feel like I drank the pre-op poo poo drink.  My tummy is very unsettled.  I think it is either from the nonfat milk in my coffee although I have been drinking them daily for about a month now, or it is the tomatoes and fresh fruit I reintroduced this week.  So, I am going to stay away from both for a bit to see if it clears up, but in the meantime what do can I do to make it STOP!

Thanks in advance.

Happened to me twice. I went back to the basics. Clear liquids for a day then soft soft foods for a couple of days. I helped. Hope you do well!

Thank you Gloria.  I was planning on doing that, even though I HATE protein shakes.  LOL

Thanks Joy!  I saw my surgeon yesterday for my 3 month post op and he said to take imodum and I hate taking medicine so of course I don't have any.  I am only doing protien drinks today and will slowly begin to eat again.

Lola,

You might be lactose intolerant.  Quite of few people are after surgery.

Kim,
This is what I think as well.  I will be cutting out milk and going back to my Lactaid.  And I guess when I have coffee I will have to ask for soy.

Or you can completely switch to soy.  That is what I had to do.  Lactaid even made me sick to the point of .

Kim,
I have NEVER tried Soy.  What does it taste like?  Is there a certain brand you prefer?
Thanks,

Lola,

I like 7th Continent and Soy Silk.  Both in Vanilla flavor and sold in the refrigerated section.  My suggestion is to buy a quart and see if you like it or not.
