I talked with her tonight...and well...she is not doing great at all.

She is in alot of pain...even the drugs are not working for any length of time. She is hoping it will get better in the next few days...but who knows.

She went to the doctor today for follow up and he said that he thinks that her bad bones is a result of WLS...so listen ladies...TAKE YOUR CALCIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Diane even said that she has not been the best about taking her calcium...she is going to now!

The doctor said that if she really watches her recovery and is careful she should heal nicely.

So thats it for now. I plan on seeing her at some point over the weekend or early next week and take her some goodies and have a girls visit.

Keep her in your prayers...and pray that her pain gets better!

She said to tell everyone hello and thanks for the wishes!

I would say give her a hug for me...but don't it would hurt like hell !

I had major shoulder surgery 3 years ago and was in and airplane splint for 6 weeks 24/7. It was a living hell!! I can't imagine what hers is like, I wouldn't even try. But I know that you can't move your foot without the shoulder moving too. So it is very difficult not to move it at all. Shoot just try to get out of a chair and not move your shoulder, it can't be done!! And forget sleeping in a regular bed!!Give her my very best. I hope she gets some pain relief soon. And I hope she has a very comfy recliner.
