Hello Everyone,

Tonite my husband has his early softball game.. I don't get off work in time to make it to the early games, so for dinner tonite, it's me, my dog and ugly betty!!!!

So I'm not cooking!!!!  I think I will stop off at tomatina and get a spinach salad with chicken and basalmic vinegrette!

How about everyone else?? what's cooking????

I'm one week post-op (VSG) and I think I'll have a small bowl of Andersen's Split Pea Soup tonight. After which, I think I will have a sugar-free popsicle.

Well, I think I am gonna make sketti with a meat sauce. Using ground turkey and turkey hot sausage and whole wheat pasta.  Probably have a side salad with it...

Some black beans with a little bit of reduced fat cheddar cheese and a spoonful of fat free sour cream. then later this evening, I will probably have a "no sugar added" fudgecicle.  (YUM)

Thanks renee.  I still can't eat anything solid.  My Dr thinks I may have a stricture  I have to have an Upper GI tomorrow and see a specialist on Tuesday.  Everything solid makes me   but from what my surgeon says, about 10% of post ops develop this.  And it's fixable

Yes, I heard strictures are fairly common and hopefully easily fixed!!!!  Take care of yourself and feel better!!!
