Good Morning Janine and my fellow loser's!

Well I am down 3 pounds this week. which is pretty cool because it seems like I lost that in the last few days. I have made a really bad habit of weighing myself every morning, I know, I need to stop that.

My head is feeling a bit funky this morning, but I know its from me weaning myself off of my Effexor. That is some harsh stuff to wean off of. But it really is a wonderful medication.

Other then my head feeling all funky, I am feeling wonderful! The last few days Hubby has really been complementing me left and right, about how "skinny" I am getting, lol. Not that he doesn't normally complement me, don't take that the wrong way, because I honestly have THE BEST husband in the entire world. Last night after getting off of work, he came to bed and was holding me, and said "this feels so weird", and I asked him what the heck he was talking about, and he said "my arm used to just rest on your belly, but now it goes totally around you and rests on the bed".....I thought that was funny.

Okay well I'm done rambling.....lol

Good Morning Group 

I am down 2.6 this morning, but I can get on the scale 5 times and 3 out of the 5 are different!   Anyway i am at 201 and just waiting for those few pounds and to drop to UNDER 200!

I started a few weeks ago playing tennis every night for about an hour to an hour in a half... Every muscle hurt the first few days, now there okay, but was thinking I was building muscle and thats why things have not moved. Although my pattern seems to be lose one week and not lose for a week or so.. I hate it, but getting used to it.

I too am a "weigh in" freak, I put the scale in the closet and then have to stop myself from pulling it out.. it drives me nuts.  I can say, I bought a jumper about 2 weeks ago, a size 14 and it was tight around the hips and dreaded belly (of course) and put it on this morning and IT FITS!  so I know the scale may not be moving but the inches are.

I am soooo close to that 100 pound lost mark, and am down over 60 inches.  so life goes on and I contnue my routine of LIVING!!

Everyone have a FABULOUS week, and hang in there, look to what you've accomplished not how much you have left to go!

Good Morning Janine and everyone,

I am exited that my stall is gone for now and I have lost 5 lbs this week. for a total 52 lbs.
I go to my Diabetic Doctor today for a check up.  I was on 1 shot of Byetta and 2 oral medications.  I am off the byetta but still taking the 2 oral.  I am a little disappointed that I am not off all medications yet.  Hopefully as more weight comes off I can stop taking them.

Hi Gina, don't be disappointed. Not everyone comes off all their meds with the surgery. Out of 9 meds prior to my surgery 5 1/2 months ago, I am still on 2. Two diabetes pills and my thyroid med. Keep your chin up! =)

I will fess up this morning dangit!  I gained 5pds.  Its okay, I will get it off in no time.  I hate that dang scale.  And, I have to admit, I have had my share of carbs in the last couple of weeks
