Between a rock and a hard place ~ UGH ~ Life!!!!!
The Gaming Commission needs a list of the creditors being included in my bankruptcy. So, I had a meeting with my paralegal yesterday and it didn't help much with that. So I called the GC lady and asked if a list of creditors from me on their letterhead would be enough. "NO, it has to be official from them. " So, I call the law firm back and a lady calls me and says they can't do that until we actually file, which costs $300. Well, I don't have $300 till I start working! I told her I can't get that money till I have a job, but can't get that job without the list. She said "sorry!"
UGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Why does life have to be so fking hard????
So, I left a message with my lawyer this time to see if there is ANYTHING they can do to help me. I already wasted the ink and paper to print out all 6 of our credit reports, so can they at least go through it with me and type up an official list on their letterhead???? There has to be something they can do to help me get this job so I can get this BK over with!!!!
Then my dumbass hubby says "what if you just tell VV that we are going to wait on the BK and see if they will hire you anyway!" Is he for real???? no BK, no job at VV, duh!!!!! (he doesn't think we should do the BK anyway). Then he asked if our 19 year old daughter could lend us the money!!! HELLO, she doesn't make enough and it isn't her issue!!! UGH, sometimes he is sooooo dumb!!!!!
Ok, thanks for letting me vent. I feel a little better now! I will keep you posted. PLEASE keep me in your prayers for this to turn out ok in the end! I NEED this job like LAST week!!!!
love and bigg huggs, Becky

My advice to you is to stop asking the paralegal. She seems to be the type that cannot think outside of the box and does not understand the importance. They can do anything they want, but sounds as if she is not the brightest star in the sky!
If the office has an office manager, go through them. Don't aske to talk straight to the attorney because the attorney will probably just give you lip service and that is it. If the office manager is any food, she will follow it through. In most offices, it is the manager who keeps everything afloat.
Also, be persistant, but nice at the same time. If you are inclined to baking, a batch of cookies can also help you out. It has worked for me many, many times.
Good luck and keep on trying.

The lady I talked to today wasn't even my paralegal and she didn't seem very bright at all. I ended my convo with her by saying "thanks for nothing"
The message I left tonight was my lawyers voicemail and I believe he is the supervising lawyer for BK. Hopefully he will be more willing to help me out! Hmmm, a batch of cookies huh, I might have to try that!!! If they let me come in to help me, I will bring something for them!!! thanks for the suggestion!
hope all is well with you honey!!! it's so good to see you, miss you! bigg huggs and love to you!!!!

I'm sorry this is so difficult for you ... They better give you this job after all this trouble!

The Gaming Commission is tough. If I were trying to get a "key" job that involves handling money or chips, they wouldn't hire me because of my credit issues. It's only because of the position I am applying for that they can even work with me. Everybody that works at a casino, no matter what position, has to go through all of this!!!
I'm sure I have the job, it's just taking so long and I needed the money yesterday!!! thanks for the prayers sweetie!!!
