Congratulations are in order for you too! You did it!!! I read your recap on the 5k, good job!  Ready to do it again in November? The Turkey Trot 5k is just around the corner.
Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Wow Monica, You amaze me once more. Do you get that runner's high everyone talks about> I can't even imagine doing what you do. I only imagine tripping and falling flat on my face.

Keep it up forever and stay young and bright and vibrant!

Hi Nancy!

You know, when I run the first 3 miles of ANY run I always think to myself "this sucks! why am I running, this is stupid!"

But after a while, you do feel pretty good. It's somewhere in the middle of a long run that the 'runners high' kicks in......if it lasts to the finish line, you're lucky.  LOL!

I bet you can do alot more than you realize! Enter the Turkey Trot 5k and walk it, maybe you'll win a pie.
