Pre-registration at Hospital

Hi there Cali friends!

I just got home from my pre-registration appt at the hospital! Yay!!! I will check in at 0530 on October 16th and I will be first surgery of the day!

I am excited and happy! I do not have to do any pre-op diet or anything except the day before I'm not to eat any real fatty or heavy foods and nothing after midnite. I can do that!!!

My husband will take me to the hospital and be there while I am in surgery but he has to go to work after he finds out that I am ok.............that's a bummer, but ok. He will most likely work too late to come back to the hospital for a visit so we will have to keep contact by phone..

He has Friday off, so atleast he can bring me home from the hospital! Anyway, that is my update to my happenings!!!

I am so happy for you...I know how much you have wanted this. Just think you will be a LOOSER soon!!!!

Sorry to hear that you husband has to go to work, but just get you rest while you are there!!!

I wish you luck on the day of surgery and after.

Thanks Michele! I know..........I cannot believe that this day is finally arriving! I have been scared that I will get sick or something will happen before hand...........always the worry wart!!! lol

I'm doing a "Snoopy Dance" for you!!! Nice fast pre-op to surgery day time frame too!!!, My pre-op is today....same as you. no special pre-diet other than non fatty, no starchy carb foods...liquids pre-op day. And ofcourse..."the Cleaner outter at 5 pm, the night before"..lol
