Welcome to Manic Monday

Our week has already started out crappy. The girls caught a nasty case of head lice from school. Julia is having social problems. We have decided to homeschool the girls. Not what I needed on my already full plate, but I think it is necessary. They are way advanced in their classes and Julia has already skipped grades once (part of her social problems). They aren't learning much and their Dad wants to teach them here.

We were honest about the head lice at school and they are being real picky about getting them back into class. Whatever. After 20 loads of laundry and 10 hours of hair picking, I have to now find time to study for my exam. Sigh. 

I am going to get their paperwork submitted asap and maybe they wont have to go back . We are going to use an online public school for now to see how it works. Any suggestions from any homeschool moms out there is welcome!

Janine, glad you had a great weekend. Biker weekend sounded like fun. Wish I could have gone. It's great that AVA has started walking. Pretty soon she'll be off and running...lol I love sapphires!! They are my birthstone too... =)

Yesterday I got hit with some news. In July my son had moved to Missouri with his girlfriend. 2 months later the realtionship fell apart, so I spent out almost $400.00 to bring him home two weeks ago. Yesterday I found out that they have been talking and she's manipulated him into thinking that everything was his fault. Now he's talking about moving back to "Misery" to be with her. I feel so angry, hurt and used. I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day. Be careful out there, the winds are wicked.

Whoo-hoo Ava!!! Walking and piercing all in one week end. WOW! Kim S. Sounds like homeschool would be a really good idea for you and your girls. So kids just do better at home. I have a  Nephew that has always been homeschooled, he is 15 and in college with a black belt!! I have a Niece that is in a Charter School much better fit for her as well.

Good morning California!

It's another beautiful day on the coast.  We walked the river run yesterday in preparation for the race this weekend.  I planned on walking less than usual and ended up doing more.  How did that happen? lol   Today is a relaxed day of baking more oopsies, grocery shopping and feeding our friends' cat.
