The LOng BEach Bike Tour
Ok, here is my experience from the bike tour. First off last night I got to meet Monica P for the veryfirst time. What a sweet person and OMG beautiful too.
So we arrived at the finish line at 515 ish. Met up with Kirsten and Kevin. Got Chucks old bike for Kevin to ride. We started out riding oh did I tell you that it was cold out there. If not it was. So we started out riding and it was packed. So, I think it was at about mile 4 or so tragedy hit me. Some guy told me passing on left so Ipulled a bit to right to let himpass. Well he didn't pass he hit my tire. Well, I went flying literally end over end, so did he. He came right behind me. I think at this point we were connected. He and his bike landed on top of me. Well, on my way down I struck my HELMETED head on the grass along with my shoulder. ALl I could do was lay there on the grass. I was crying get the **&&*% off me. Just flailing all around. I then asked if my bike was ok. So it got checked and it was ok. So then I looked at my knee and it had a scratch on it then. I waa feeling somewhat nauseated and headache. Then, I rolled around on the grass I was hurting like there was no tomorrow. Then I looked up and who do I see but Kevin and Kirsten. They came up to make sure I was ok. So, off we went. I then ended up ahead of them and then down this lady fell and 3 other cyclists landed on her. Had no where to go and once again I launched off onto the sand this time. Guess what I landed on my shoulder.
I think that was about mile 6. Freakin mile 6. I still had 20 to go. I refused to let them take me anywhere but to let me Nothing broke, sprained shoulder is all. Need to wear the stupid sling for a few days.
Thats my story and I am sticking too it.

Good Morning BFF
I have always known you to be a great person, but WOW! how very kind of you, to let others use you as a landing pad. So kind of you to use your body to break thier falls.
I truly hope you are feeling better soon, and I wanted to thank you once again for the tylonol.
Love you, booboo and all.

Hopefully you're feeling better this morning! I really had a lot of fun out there even though I was terrified. There were way too many people on that course!!! I am so lucky that when I was cut off and fell it was pretty graceful...right into the sand. LOL
