Good Morning Chris & Everyone,
You are so going to love Hawaii, wish I was going with you. I would love to go again on my terms, lol. As for the Luau, they have lots of high protein foods, lots of meats, just try to stay away from the rest. Congrat on the WOW moment 70lbs kicks arse!!!
I agree go Chargers!!!
Everyone have a good relaxing day. Be good to yourselves and those around you!!!

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

Good morning Chris and Cali crew! CONGRATS on the 70 pounds sweetie, that is fabulous news!!!!!
Wow, everyone is sleeping in today, lucky you!!! I am up early to go to church!
My hubby went to church with me last night!!!! For those that really know me, you know that in itself is a MIRACLE!!!! We are really working on keeping our marriage together, so keep us in your prayers. Mike is NOT a Christian like me and it has become a HUGE issue for me!
So church and then back to the paperwork search. I have an appointment tomorrow at 10 with my bankruptcy lawyer and I'm desperately trying to dig up all that he needs. Hopefully he can at least help me get the list of creditors that I need for the final stage of getting my job!!! I've really had to work hard to get this job and I can't wait to start. Orientation should be next week Mon. and Tues.  fingers crossed!!!
Marathoners GOOD LUCK!!!! Chris have a GREAT time in Hawaii, I am soooooo jealous!!! And I am with Jean, I CAN'T WAIT for LA convention ~ WOO HOO!!!!!  Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning Chris and the cali crew.

70 pounds gone.  Whoo Hoooooooo!!!!!   Congratulations I hope you have a blast in Hawaii.

Good luck to all those participating in the LB Marathon.  I still can't imagine being able to run that far.  I admire all of those that are doing it.  Whether it's running, walking, or biking.
CONGRATS

Yesterday, I spent the day with my daughter.  We went and walked around Venice Beach.  (one of my favorite places).  It was nice hangin out with her.  We talked and talked, and even did more talking.  Considering the rough couple of weeks we did have, it was so great communicating.  She even grabbed my arm, and we walked arm and arm almost the entire time.  It was a good time

WOW moment----------  When we were walking along the boardwalk in venice.  There were a couple of guys (even appeared to be normal.....hehe)  that were trying to flirt with me.  OMG  I couldn't beleive it.  My daughter (15) grabbed my arm and said "OMG mom those guys were totally checking you out!  It just felt good to receive some attention from the opposite sex!

Today is laundry and house cleaning day.  I hope everyone has a relaxing day today.

Good morning all!  I had to turn my heater on this morning for a bit to knock the chill off!  Wow.  Time to go get some fireword.

Yesterday was hard.  Very hard.  Very tired of the "family reunion by funeral" so now we have decided to host Thanksgiving dinner at our house for Joe's family.  45+  Pot-luck style.  Joe will smoke 3 turkeys and I'll do stuffing (mmmmm, my best!) and a Black Forest ham and a pumpkin cake.  Everyone will bring a side dish and chairs!!!!  Starting at noon and finishing whenever.

Joe's weird friend came back yesterday while we were gone.  Damn.  Only 6 more days till he's gone.  Made himself right at home again only this time took my blanket and was using it.  I have a nice cotton blankie I use at nights to snuggle under and he took it.  And now he's sleeping with it.  Will get it back today and wa**** and keep it in my room.

Remember to hug the one's you love, tell them so and treat each day as if it will be your last!  Remind those that are special to you in your life how special they are.  I love my hubby so much I realized yesterday how lost I would be if it had been him that was involved in that tragic accident.  He's my world, my rock and my best friend!

Good morning Chris and Cali!

Congrats of 70 lbs gone forever and keep rocking that tool.  70 pounds is great and you are doing a great job.  Can you take me with you to Hawaii please?  I want to go, I promise to be a good girl.  LOL!

As for me, it feels like it has been a busy few days.  I wasn't on the computer yesterday until almost 11 pm and I was way too tired to read or write.  LOL!  I had training yesterday and ran/walked 4 miles.  It was a lot eaiser than I thought.  Than I went home to  play with my lil man and we were off to a birthday party.  After the birthday party we went to a friends house.  It was a good day.
Today, my son's wonderful father (NOT) canceled his visit because he doesn't feel well.  Whatever!  He hasn't taken my son on Sunday's for a month now.  What a joke.  So, we are going to run errands and go to the gym.

Hope everyone running/riding/walking the LB Marathon has a great day.  Can't wait to hear how you all did.  And Lu Lu you better have walked it.  LOL!

Have a great Sunday Cali!

Good morning California!

What a way to start the day, Chris!  Congratulations!  70 lbs is a WOW any day of the week!

I made a recipe I found on a low carb website.  OMGo****'s SO good!  It's called oopsie buns and I added kalamata olives and rosemary because it used to be one of my favorited breads (3 years ago when I could still eat bread).  Basic recipe below.

We're going to walk the runver run today and Wednesday.  The race is Saturday.  That sure snuck up on m in a hurry.

Good luck to everyone in the race and have a great day!

Hugs,
---jan---

Oopsie Rolls (Gluten-Free Buns) Low Carb
http://cleochatra.blogspot.com/2008/01/sailor-scouts-make-my-revol-oopsie.html
Makes 6@ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per

3 large eggs
1 pkg Splenda
dash of salt
pinch of cream of tartar
3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften!

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

Separate the eggs and add cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together.

In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture).

Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites.

Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly.

Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool. Store in a loosely open sack and allow to rest on the counter before use (otherwise they might be too moist). Can be frozen.

Notes: If you are making these to be savory (for burgers) you can add dry mustard and dill or other seasonings to the yolk mixture. If you want a more sweet roll, add a very small amount of stevia natural sweetener to the yolk mixture.

Try making frech toast, strawberry cake, hamburger buns, pizza, pancakes..check out the website for lots of ideas.
