1 Month Postop Stats!

 
Today, one month ago I was a miserable patient, lol

Well, just did my 1 month post-op measurements etc

and I've lost:

42 pounds
13.75 inches!

I've slowed down lately as I've been severly constipated and have been trying to make myself "move" all weekend!  Slowly but surely it's happening but I feel as if I swallowed a gazelle!  This is nothing new to me, I always have had this issue, I slacked on my fiber stuff and I'm paying for it now.

Also, don't know if this is because of the trauma that surgery puts on ones body, but my period is late.  I was supposed to start I think Tuesday and STILL no Satan......  Is this normal?  So I'm sure I'm holding some water weight there as well.

Well, just wanted to share.  It's been a really hard month for trying to recover with my Mom problems, one of my beautiful turtles passed away (see profile) and I aquired 2 new baby turtles, not to mention finances lost b/c of the surgery etc... so it's been a rough month but I stayed on track.  :)

I gotta tell ya, I look at that cat sliding down that wall on your pic and at one point it looks just like where my boobs are now!  Getting old really effects your eyes, but that is what I see, do I need to see a shrink you think??

Also, yes I have been told I am a tad nutty at times...must be menopause, and not enough prozac.

Girl!!  Congrats to yu!   I love your posts!  They are honest and straight forward!!  I too loved the cat clawing its way down, but I'm happy to see your new pix!

It hasn't been an easy month, for sure but I just say it how it is.  It's getting better and that's what matters.  STILL not easy but making progress :)

Turtle girl, WOW!!! 42 pounds that's wonderful. Sooo sorry to here about one of your turtles.
Diane I think you are a bit nuts you...I am sure that is why I like you !!! Birds of a feather..so to speak.
