OT: Anyone know where in California ...

I'm looking for somewhere (hopefully not too far away) to take my grandchildren where they can experience an echo.   As a child, we always vacationed in Cali and I remember shouting across the canyon & hearing my voice come back to me.  It's one of my best memories, and I would love to share the experience with my g-kids.   Does anyone know where to find an echo?

Okay, we have came up with Tuhunga Canyon on the 2 hwy coming out of the LA mountains. There a damn up there.

Up the 39 in the San Gabriel Valley into Azusa Canyon, right outside of Morris Dam - GREAT place and beautiful views... excellent for echos!

A little further north (and worth it!) are the California caverns.  They are amazing for echoes, but also for the formations inside as well.  Moaning Caverns is off of Hwy 4 in Valecitos (http://www.caverntours.com/MoCavRt.htm). They have a walking tour down into the cavern, a repelling tour down into the cavern and a zip line as well as several other 'above ground' activities.
