Well, I was JUST ready to put up a morning post to start the thread and checked to see if anyone had done so and you had Janine!
So here is what I wrote anyway!
Good Morning Everybody!
Well it is Thursday, October 9th and you know what that means, right? Yup, tomorrow is a TGIF and I, for one, look forward to putting this week behind me and enjoying a nice weekend!
As usual lately I will be spending a good deal of time in my garden Saturday at least and the weather is supposed to cool off today and get downright chilly by the weekend. The weathercasters are even talking about some snowfall in the upper elevations of the local SoCal mountains this weekend! Wow....
Today is just work for me. Tomorrow afternoon I am leaving work at noontime and going to the Registrar of Voters office here in San Bernardino for poll training. D and I are both working the polls for the election Nov. 4th. He had his class Tuesday. I am a poll supervisor and my class will be longer and more in depth. Looking forward to working the election. I used to do it all the time when I lived in Orange County but haven't done it for years now.
A big shout out to all the new Loser's that joined us on the Loser's bench this week! Congratulations to you all and buckle that seat beat for a roller coaster WLS journey!
Keep Monica in your thoughts and prayers this morning. If I read correctly she will be having her surgery this morning and I sure do hope this proceedure clears up her long time, ongoing gastric issues.... not to mention re-start her weight loss!
So, what's happening in your neck of the woods of our great state guys? Have anything interesting on your agenda today?

Good morning all...
Here's a quick Blessing for everybody to have the day you are hoping for.
My day will be spent the same way as yesterday...trying to stick to the pre-op diet...lowfat, high protein, starch free....easy enough until night time..then it hits..I'm hungry!
I will continue preping my home for my after WLS time, cleaning out fridge and cuboards of uselss foods, then as the days move by, tidying rooms and doing laundry. I have a spoiled family and they wouldn't know how to wash a towel or replace a roll of TP..lol Also gonna stock up on dog food,
cat food and ME food. I think all I need for me now are the popsicles and juices. A quick question for the ladies please <> 
should i invest in a particular type of panty? I wear the Lane Bryant micro fiber briefs...might they be a bit too tight? Should I get the old cotton comfies??..lol I have a collection of moomoos, so outter clothing for the first week or two is probably ok, I don't own any sweats yet...should I get a pair or two?
Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh...what would I do without my OH buddies.
Oh, a quick question....when I see "OT" as a post header...what does the OT stand for?? I know I am gonna kick myself for not figguring it out myself..lol but oh well..I am ADD, so that explains alot. Good day m'friends...

i haven't been around in a couple of day..been busy kinda.. i'm making tamales today for someone 's bday.. it's gonna be whey much funn,,,,last night me and my bf went to a winery and had a great time.. i was dd so no drinking for me (i can't drink anyway_)...but my bf bought me a bottle of merlot to save for us when i can drink again.. well that 's it eveyone take care...

Well, tIoday is my Friday. I have a lot planned for tomorrow. I think I am going out to see my Dad and Lee. Keep my son Phillip in your thoughts today. He will find out if he gets one of 4 positons availiable for the full time Phlebotomy job with benefits. Lindsey is going back to see the surgeon today for a re- evaluation on the mass on her neck. So its not really any better and it bothers her.
Today I also get my bike back from the shop. Yipee. I can take her to have new pedals put on too. That means I can use my new bike shoes too,
Well, need to get going more stuff to do at work then there are hours in the day.

Well this is my last day before County Orientation #1 tomorrow. It is at the County Mental Health Services Building, hope they let me leave, lol!!! Then I have Friday and Saturday off and Orientation 2&3 Monday and Tuesday. Thats when I will find out more about when I start at the jail ect. I am getting very excited. Orientation 5&6 are at the end of the month. So today I am not doing a whole lot. Just trying to not stress about what tomorrow will be like. Off to drink my protein and get my exercise in.

Wow. It's the end of the week already? I am amazed I've made it this far being my first week back since surgery. Switched back to very soft / liquids for about a week to see how my tummy reacts. The nausea was just bugging me.
Our weekend plans changed yesterday. Joe's cousin and very good friend was killed suddenly while working on their property with his dad. In an instant life was over. Wow. We are still in shock and can hardly believe it. He was a crusty old dude but Joe's hunting and fishing partner for years. Saturday we will be in Yreka for the funeral. Joe has stepped up for his widdow and 2 young sons and will be there to help her with anything. Her in-laws do not like her and I suspect she will not be staying in that area for long.
On a brighter note.............it's almost Friday. This week has been a busy one for me. Tonight I get my new fridge fixed and re-charged (the kid laid it down on the trip up) and after that I think I get to sit and relax for a while. I was up until 11:30 last night tying knots on the blankies I was making for the auction.
Off to work...........
