What did you eat 11 weeks out?
Hi Linda!
I was doing a protein shake in the morning for breakfast, then drank about 33oz of water. For lunch, I'd usually have two slices of turkey breast and a slice of swiss warmed so it was a little melty. After, another 33oz of water. I'd snack on ff yogurt or cottage cheese, sometime a protein bar. More water!! Then for dinner I'd have sometimes a chicken breast or a burger patty and if I could fit it, some veggies.
I wasn't eating at FF places at all. Wasn't having bread, rice, pasta at all. I still can't tolerate bread well and i'm 15 months out tomorrow.
Good luck with the solid food!!

Hi Linda,
I was still pretty limited at 11 weeks. I ate Dennison's low-fat turkey chili, and I put green enchilada sauce in my canned tuna and smashed it all up. I ate yogurt for breakfast and snacked on string cheese. I could not eat eggs or any hard meat for months. I wasn't even eating any fruits or veggies. I also ate cottage cheese and ricotta; I liked them just plain. For extra protein, I forced myself to drink a 42 gram bullet, grape flavored, with lots of ice and watered down with water and some lemon juice. I hated them, but drank them anyways. I still do almost no bread or pasta, and I haven't touched a baked potato in almost 2 years.
I never felt hungry and I always felt like I needed more time in my day to eat enough calories, but my doctor said not to worry, so I didn't. Let me know if you need more info,
Good luck,
nancy

Thank you Nancy
I also do the bullets. Grape and blue rasberry are the only flavors I can stomach. I add them to a 20 oz bottle of water. I also do a protein shake in the morning. I eat string cheese and yogurt, and ff/sf puddings. I have tried the turkey chili and cant keep it down. I have tried canned tuna/chicken/beef etc. can keep any meat down. I seem to do ok on most beans, so I figure I will stick to what works for now. My only focus is getting my protein and I seem to be doing it thru supplements. I am sure as more time goes by, I should be able to eat real food. It's just I read what other people can eat that had surgery after me and I am no where close to them.

Hi Linda,
First, thank you for posting. I've been struggling the last few weeks. Yesterday I was considering not reading OH for a couple weeks because it was too depressing for me not to do as well as others. (Rationally I knew we're all different, emotionally..well I was out of sorts.)
This morning I turned a corner and decided I was going to lose as much as I am and that's it. I'm still much less than I was and that had to be good enough for me.
So thank you for posting this! :-)
I was able to eat many things until week 8 or 9. Then I struggled to keep anything solid or semi solid down no matter how many times I chewed. Things I was able to eat, I couldn't anymore. I went back to liquids for a couple weeks. I'm just branching out again after giving my pouch a rest.
Now for what I'm able to eat:
Tofu goes down well. I make soups and add tofu.
Cauliflower, cheese and unflavored protein powder was good and stayed down.
I'm able to eat the Oh Yeah! wafer protein bars with no problem.
I also down the vile New Whey. Orange is my fav though that's not saying much. lol 42g of protein is the only reason I do it.
Jay Robb protein powder or choc Truffle Nectar Whey protein isolate, mixed with Soy Slender. No problems there.
I occasionally have ISOPURE orange protein drink. Not great, but better than the bullets.
1/4 C pinto beans with 1Tlb taco bell salsa con queso, blended in a Magic Bullet goes down well.
Cashews go down well, though I try to avoid them. 5 cashews is 102 calories.
Canned ham with 2 Tbl of FF sour cream
Canned Chicken with 2 Tbl of FF sour cream and a diced pickle spear
Lox and 1/3 Less fat cream cheese
