Well, I am gonna fess up.  When I started my pre-op diet,a bit over 4 weeks ago, I lost 8 pounds in the first week...THEN I got the bad news that I had been put on the back burner for awhile til the "heart issues" had been resloved. I  tried to stay on the diet, but instead regained the 8 pounds..mostly water I am sure but I sure could feel it, both comming off and returning..lol  I got the go-ahead for WLS this past Monday...sooooooo I started back fully on the pre-op diet that same day, so here I go again.  As of this morning, after going to the potty, before eating and nekkid, I've lost 2 1/2 pounds..lol  I have my pre-op next Tuesday, so I'd like to be a good example to Dr. Suh..lol  I will still follow the pre-op guidelines right up until surgery date on the following Monday.  I never felt deprived...just depressed, a fatal blow to any diet.

Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew, I am down a whopping 4 pounds this week. Not sure how or when that happened but I will take it.
I am no longer morbidly obese. Just obese. But I will take that too. I gotta change my ticker.LOL
Dr's appointment today. Not much more going on with me.

Good morning Janine & Cali Crew!! It's gonna be a beautiful day! I am down 2 pounds this week. Woohoooo!! I love this tool! I am at the lowest weight I have been in 7 years. Wow!! That's all I can say.

I am just relaxing today until I have to leave for my interview. I'm gonna have the polish change on my nails, just to have it freshened up for the interview. Then it's on to Walmart for some stockings. I realized late last night that I didn't have any. Ugh!

I hope everyone has a great Hump Day!! Only 2 days till the weekend!! =)

I'm down about 4 pounds this week after being in a 2+ week stall.  Must have been Joy's cooking and staying on me the few days she was here.  Eiher way whoo hoo!!!

Morning, Cali peeps!  I have my first-ever gain of .4 pounds.  I was bad this weekend and had some tortilla chips, and I've been having a lot of cheese, but I guess it is my time for a stall.  I got so close to Onederland, so it is frustrating to stall now.  I've got to pick up my exercise!  -- Carol

I am holding Steady at 5 weeks out.  I guess I am on a plateau.  Any suggestions on how to break it?

Plateaus are normal and you are at about the right spot for your first one! Don't worry too much about it! Just be sure you are getting in the right amount of protein, water, vitamins, and doing exercise! The rest will come, your body needs time to catch up!
Make sure you are taking your monthly pics and measurements. It helps to see those changes during plateaus!!!
