I'm down 40 lbs

Since my office visit in late June!

I lost 10 before sx and 30 post surgery, my 1 month surgiversary is on Oct 12.

I can't believe it.  I don't FEEL like I've lost it really.  I can SEE it in my face for sure but as far as clothes go, I'm scared to try things on.  I'm sticking to drawstring cargos etc for the time being, lol

Is this loss pretty much on par?

Well, 3 1/2 weeks anyways, lol

I've been having a hard time eating anything and I'm sure that doesn't help.  And I'm walking daily too, which makes me feel better.  :)

Is that too much to lose that fast????

Its very hard to eat in the beginning - but for me I was on liquids for 2 weeks then mushy for 2 weeks (if I remember correctly) but it wasn't until 6 weeks that I could actually have food.  Take what you can get (whatever weight you lose) just be sure you are taking  your vitamins and such and get in your protein and water......Walking is great keep it up.  Thats my biggest problem is getting in exercise...so keep up the great work.  Are you ever gonna make it to a LB coffee so we can meet  you in person?  The next one is on 10/25.  Hope to see you there.

I'm trying to walk daily and have gone on one bikeride which I hope to do more of.  :)

I'm just amazed.  I wish I could "see" it.  I guess this weekend I need to sort clothes and see what fits and whatnot.  I'm not sure if 40 lbs will make a difference in what size pants I can wear.  I wore a 22 before.... we'll see :)

Sounds like we were about the same before surgery.  I was in a size 20-22 depending on the brand.  I am now in a 16 and even those are getting big.  I will be taking my measurements again next week.  at 8 weeks, I had lost 41 inches. I am doing water aerobics 5 days a week.  I have a bad back and bad feet so I can't run or even walk for long periods of time. but I love the pool.  I feel so invigorated when I get out.

That's incredible Linda!!

Where do you do water aerobics?  I'd love to get into that.  I'm a total fish, love the water!!
