Me too! Lompoc/Central Coast Support Group

Moving to Lompoc. Need to get re-established in a support group. I have checked web site for support groups but there appears to be nothing in the area. I'm willing to drive to any group between Santa Barbara to SLO. If there is no support groups, would love to get together with other WLS  coffee groups. I know this is the way to keep me on course.

San Luis Obispo has a group that just started this year. It is put on by a trained support group leader and has great information.

4th Tues. of everymonth at 500 Marsh St. CoastNational bank community room from 6pm - 7:30pm

then there is Central Coast Lifesavors and here are their times and locations:
Central Coast Life Savors is a support group for Gastric bypass weight loss surgery and other surgeries. Have you had weight loss surgery or ever thought about suregery as a weight loss option? Come Join us for our monthly support meetings. Members include those who are post-op, pre-op or just gathering information. We have 4 locations and times.
*Arroyo Grande meets monthly on the 3rd Saturday at 12:30pm the Arroyo Grande Hospital Annex building.
*San luis Obispo meets Monthly on the 2nd Saturday @ 1pm @ Sierra Vista Hospital Auditorium room.
*Atascadero meets monthly on the 1st Saturday @ 12:30pm at 4885 El Camino Real(Recovery Physical Therapeutic Center).
*Orcutt meets monthly on the 2nd Monday night at 6:30pm the Rabo Bank on Clark.

I just found out about the Life Savors group this week and I am SO EXCITED! I live in Santa Maria and there is one the second Monday of every month in Orcutt (@ Rabobank on Clark Road at 6:30 pm. This Monday will be my first meeting with this group (I had surgery in Fountain Valley and only knew of my group at the hospital). I look forward to seeing you there :)
