Good Morning my Cali Friends!

How is everyone this morning?  I hope well!  A lot of exciting things going on out there with the marathons, meet and greet, all sounds like you had a great time!

I just stayed at home all weekend, cleaning house and playing with Tommy!  We had the gate rebuilt and cleaned the RV pad area so we could bring our trailer home next weekend.  We're really excited!  When we go to pick it up they are going to explain how to use everything...set it up, etc...

Getting closer to my surgery date...........yay!!!  I'm ready!!!!

Goodmorning Jeni!!! So glad you made the morning post as I am moving slow this morning.

I am so excited for you getting a RV....how cool is that? You are going to have so much fun. I think that no matter what the gas prices are....in some ways you will be saving money cuz you can sleep in it and not have to go to hotels when you are traveling...and OMG Tommy will love going RV'ing with grandma and grandpa!!! He will have a lot of good childhood memories. I am telling you I loved, loved going camping with my dad and fishing....he use to take me instead of my brother....I had a ball....he would make bisuits in an oven that sat over the campfire....and all kinds of yummy things! Of course I would rememvber the food! LOL Still had a lot of good times.

You only have 10 days until your surgery....I am so happy for you....seems like it would not happen, but I told you to hang on to your britches and it would....see I knew!!!! You're going to do GREAT!!!

Well I am off to work....not feeling well still...had something weird happen last night....felt like I got my pouch blocked or something and after I took my nighttime pills....I proceeded to barf....very unusal for me. My pouch HURTS like hell this morning....ah but such is life....those 8's feel better in the grand scheme of things!

Yes, Tommy is so excited!  I went a whole week without seeing him and he didn't understand why Grandma didn't pick him up from school last Friday.  I was just backing off a bit after the little blow out about his schooling......  It's hard sometimes.  I do not want to give Dad his cake and let him eat it too if you know what I mean but I in no way want to hurt Tommy.

I just explained to him that Daddy loves him and wants him to be with him and go to school by their house so he can spend all his time with him, but the kid is too smart!  He knows it's bull.......he said Daddy hangs with his friends and parties all of the time and never spends time with him!   I just told him that he needs to talk to dad and be honest with him......So I just need to keep an eye on things............and be there for him when he needs me.  I pray someday that these adult kids grow up!

Yes, I want to create some great memories in the RV!!!  Can't wait to get started! 

Take care sweetie!  Feel better and get some rest!  I got a big fatty German Shepherd   here nudging my hands with that BIG nose of hers and licking my fingers!  Doesn't want me on the computer, She wants my attention my spoiled girl!!!

Not long to go before we can welcome you to the Loser's Bench. Isn't it exciting and frightening all at the same time?

Had a great weekend here, lot's of time in the garden and dinner at Mom's Saturday night. Got all my autumn chores finished in the back yard yesterday, finally. Now on to the FRONT yard next weekend!

Good Morning California Peeps..........

I didn't much yesterday, other then shave Fresser, and give her a bath. She is going to meet new friends today and I wanted her to look good. If all goes good, she is going to spend next weekend with them when I leave for long beach. And when I go out of town in Nov with my friend Kevin.  I am hoping that the fur kids get along so this does work, because other wise, Fresser will be alone all weekend, with just Sherrise checking in on her, and spend a bit of time. If this works she will have friend to play with. So at noon today think good thoughts for her.

Other then that and calling to set up my shysical abuse that is my day in a nut shell. WOW!!!

OK Coffee is done and my body is screaming for it.

Good Morning Jeni and Cali Guys and Gals.

I have been lurking for a week or two.  Lots going on in my life and a lot of life changes happening too, so I have been real busy and very emotional I would say.  I am down about 58 lbs. now and did a measure last week and had lost 18 inches.  I don't think that sounds like a lot, maybe some of you have some insite.  I have been walking alot about 3-5 miles each day and I have  really loved that.  WE are going to Silverwood lake hiking next weekend and that should be tons of fun.  I just can't wait.  I so love walking.  I think back just 3 short months ago, I could not walk a mile without breathing hard and wanting to sit down.  But now since surgery and quitting smoking I can do so much more and go so much further.  I would go further now but with 6 children in tow and a grama that is in a scooter, we gotta go at a certain pace.  But they are all getting fit and have tons of endurance now and that is a good thing.,  Saturday we are leaving them home and just my husband and I are going to go hiking.  Then Sunday if we think some of them can handle the hiking we will take them also.  No whinners or complainers on this hike.  Well my husband got laid off work a few weeks ago and we have not a clue as to when he will go back.  His hiring is controlled by the union so it is up to them.  SO I am finding myself needed to go back to work for a while it looks like and I have not worked in 10 years.  It is difficult looking for a job now days.  I have always gotten offered every job I have applied for and most of the time I was recruited so this has been hard on my ego.  I have sent out around 100 resumes and had 1 interview and another one today.  It is hard being my age and overweight and nothing on my resume but kid stuff for 10 years.  But God has a plan and he will guide me.  So if you could say a prayer that God opens and shuts the doors he wants for me I would appriciate it greatly.  Thanks for being there gang, and sorry I have been a flake for the past week or so.

Good Morning Jeni,

My weekend went well, and was pretty busy actually. I did alot of packing up of my place....still sad about having to move, but I just need to buck up and get over it. I was very careful about not lifting heavy things...don't wanna do any more damage than what's already been done!

Saturday I went to my new place and helped my sister decorate for fall.......I just love the in between seasons, and so did our mom, so we had lots of fall decor that she left us.



I know I'm really getting better because I climbed on top of the counter with garland and a staple gun to hang it up....my sister was so nervous watching me lol!!

Sunday I went to church, then I came home and walked to the shopping center across from my place (about a 10 min walk) to get a pedicure. Then I went to downtown Walnut Creek with a friend, and we walked alot and then went and got appetizers and a drink at Pyramid Brewery, then went to my old store (Starbucks) and sat outside and visited with co-workers. Then back to my sisters to unpack a few boxes, eat a couple cookies, then head home to CRASH!!! I slept terribly last night, but don't have alot going on today....just seeing my nurse, and then getting a lymphatic drainage massage....can't wait for that one!!! When I get a good massage, they get a good tip!!!
