PacBar reunion was a blast!!!!
Friday night we had Karaoke and there were a lot of good voices. I have to think that some of us wouldn't have the guts to get up there and sing our hearts out without having had our WLS!!! Yes, I sang, LOVE Karaoke!!! I spend that night with Kim *ThatKimGirl and her wonderful hubby Tim. I briefly met Gloria that night as she introduced herself, but I didn't see her yesterday (sorry, would of loved to get to know you). Later that night I was approached by 2 people that introduced themselves and after my initial stroke induced memory brain fart, I knew who they were. It was one of my angelettes, Crystal *Cryschris77 and her mom Lisa *Lisa...! I'm so glad they found me because I've been trying to meet them since Krystal's WLS 4 months ago! They both look great!!!
Then I was back bright and early Saturday am for a 7:30 walk with Dr. Zorn. There was about 20 of us walking! Then the morning and early afternoon was filled with seminars, testomonials, and Drs. QandA and some healthy snacks. I caught up with my surgery twin, Jolene, and her friend Tammi (who looks incredible after her 150 pound loss so far!!!)
Then when we had free time for a few hours, I hung out with Krystal, Lisa, and their friend Marlise and we walked to Starbucks and just hung out. They are a lot of fun!!!
Saturday night was dinner/fashion show/dance and it was fun too! Our table was Kim and Tim, Krystal, Lisa, Marlise, me and 2 new women we met! Dinner was ok, mostly bariatric friendly, but the main entree was chicken breast and it was kind of dry! Not a good choice in my opinion, but oh well!!! They had sugar free Tapioca (my fave!!!) so that made up for it! lol
It was fun and Krystal and I did some fun dancing before the night was over after she finally consented to dance!!! lol

Krystal and Lisa mostly lurk, but you LB coffee folks have met Lisa! They should post more often, they are a hoot!!! So glad you guys found me!!!!
It was a great weekend of meeting new people and being able to appreciate the surgeons who saved our lives together! Wish more of you PacBar babies could have been there, I highly recommend it for next year!!!!

Girl, my hats off to you guys brave enough to get up there! I'm so glad you had a good time. Thank you! Tim enjoyed talking to you as well, first time he's been able to talk to someone else who has had a similar experience. I love ya my angel, take good care and you'll be in my prayers that the job comes thru. Hey, we went to The Rock today, it was awesome! You need to come with us sometime, ok?
