Monica

Well, I just spoke with Monica again. She said they did the endoscopy and found no ulcers. However, they did tell her that her pouch is, indeed, larger than it should be (6 cm). The doctor was going to talk to the surgeon sometime today, I guess, to find out what course of action he wanted to take - either do the barium test or just go ahead and do the revision on the pouch (which Monica is not opposed to - lol). Anyway, ultimately she just wants them to do what they need to do to get rid of the pain. If they do decide to do surgery, it more than likely would not be until after the weekend, so she will hang out at the hospital until they decide what to do. She still is not able to eat really. She said she did ok with some diet jello, but that's about all she could handle. She said she'd call back after she heard from the surgeon.
Take Care,
Tanja
