Update on Kirsten's son!!!

Kirsten just called me and asked me to post for her. Nate is ok, but in a lot of pain. After a helicopter ride to UCLA and 3 MRIs and specialists called in to read them, it was decided that it is a REALLY bad neck sprain. They did compare what happened to him to a diver making a bad dive though!!! YIKES!!!
I'm so glad Kirsten wasn't actually at the game to see it happen. He wa**** really hard and landed on his head hard and then flipped. He had tingling kind of numbness at one point which is why they Lifeflighted him and were so thorough, but THANK GOD is isn't anything too serious!!!!
They got home from the hospital at 6 am and after a few hours of sleep she is now going to work to get a bit done!!! Poor thang!!

She said a HUGE thank you to Kimmy for posting last night and thanks so MUCH for all the prayers and support from everyone!!!!! She really needed it BIG time last night and it is GREAT to have this place to go to for support!!!
I'm sure she will post when she can. Thanks for all the prayers, lets keep them going for continued healing for Nate!!!!

OMG I'm so glad Kirsten wasn't there to see it either. I've seen that type of hit before and OMG it wasn't even my child or someone I knew and I was freaked out.
