Post GBP- New to LA!

 Hey All!
  I am Chad- and I had Roux-en-Y in Boston May 31 of 2005.  I have lost 250 lbs!  I recently (1.5 years ago) moved to LA... I have really had a hard time getting recommendations for a new PCP who has experience with treating patients post-GBP.  The insurance situation is SO different where I am originally from (MA) so- I was always able to do followups with my DRs that performed my surgery and were apart of my program.  I have HMO Blue of CA- and I am really :

A.  Looking to get involved here!

B.  Looking for referrals...

I appreciate your help!  I would like someone in the WestLA area... I live in Westwood and work in Beverly Hills.

Chad, a belated Welcome to Cali and WELCOME to the Cali board. I live on the other end of the wonderful State. So, I guess I won't be much help. But I am sure there are people on the board that can. This is a great place to meet people and find support.

Welcome to the Cali board.  I live in the SFV so I am not familiar with what Westwood or Beverly Hills have to offer as for Dr's.

I really just wanted to welcome you and I am sure someone will come along and answer your questions.

Morning!! I live in West LA too (Culver City area, work in the Muesum district), but my PCP is in El Segundo, near LAX. He's not too far a drive for me, and I absolutely LOVE him. He's very very WLS friendly and supportive. Send me a private and I'll be happy to give you his info if the LAX area isn't too far. I only go a couple times a year, so that drive's nothing.

Chad I cannot help you with the referral, but wanted to welcome you to the boards and a huge congratulations on your wl! It is AMAZING!!!!
