HI all..thank you for your very kind notes.
The trip to and from Phoenix was long but uneventful.  It was good to see my Aunt, and bittersweet to say goodbye to Mom for the last time.  My Aunt was very gracious about my wishes for (Mom's) funeral service and I was assured that there would be a video.  Now, if all the families can just get along.  Oh yeah,... one of those situations...long time bitterness and rivalries between 10 of 13 siblings between 3 blended families.  This will be a trial run for the reunion I intend on seeing when I go back to NY in the spring of '09.
God Bless you all for your cares and prayers..

Glad things went well Kim...ironic while I was working the mural yesterday I was thinking of my parents (my mom died when I was 20) and the person who this mural is for left a daughter that was 20. I was thinking I wonder what my parents would think of me now?

I did not have a good home life Kim....family bickering all the time and I was blocked from seeing certain members of my family...weird stuff...and today although I just have my boys and grandchildren I watch this crap go on in my dil's families too....I really just do not understand why people have to be such jerks about their families. Life is too short!

You know I met this woman this summer who I have become fast close friends with....and she has this HUGE family....4 kids, 9 grandchildren and a bunch of brothers and sisters herself. They are all very close the siblings...well everyone is....she is an identical twin and her and her sister talk on the phone everyday...she has these long conversations with her siblings all the time....it is just amazing. I am envious in a good one, but thankful for the small family I have.

Hope you have a great day Kim!!!!

Kim glad the trip was uneventful.  I know all about family issues that is why I live where I do.  My husbands family is about as bad as mine.  We kinda of keep too ourselves most of the time and only see the relatives one-on-one and not in a group, just too much drama for us.   We will pray that your New York trip in the spring will be uneventful also.  Take Care and Glad your home safe.

Kim,  I am sorry about your loss. As for family my husband is a child out of 9. His family dose not bother with us ( we have 5 childern). They chose not to bother only to harass us. My sixteen year old was a victim of a serious crime comitteed by her cousin. He is now in juvinale hall and is going to trail next month. He is 17. My husband's  family dose not believe her. Oh I forgot to add my 11 yr old niece is a victim too. I guess ignorence is blizz. and or denial. What I am trying to say is if there fight is pettie get over it. Life is to short to lose your family over trivial things. My husband lost his because he puts his wife and children first, the way it should be! Prayers to you and your family. Sincerely, Cathy
