I am new To OH! Surgery Date. Sept 30, 08

I will be right back on after my surgery to let people know i am OK!! and i cant wait to start adding to my weight chart!!!!

Jason, do you have a surgery angel? It is really nice to have someone to come see you at the hospital and let the board know how you are doing. I had one and have been one. I would but I live 7 hours from there, but I am sure soemone on the CALI board lives closer. Good Luck!!

No I don't not have a Surgery angel, I wish I would have signed up earlier to OH, I probably would have one,  But no biggie as soon as i get home I will be logging on to keep everyone updated! :) Thank you all!                                                                                                     Jason = The next Cali loser!!!!!!             

Welcome Jason!

You'll do great.  Pack protein powder you like in case you don't like what they give you in the hospital.  walk, walk walk, sip sip sip and ask anything about surgery or the process.  There are so many varied journeys, someone will probably have an answer or be able to point you somewhere helpful.

Welcome Jason!!   I'll be right behind you on that losers bench and I'm getting nervous also.  I have been working towards this so long and it is finally here.  It would be unusual for us not to have some nerves but we need to just take a deep breath and trust our doctors and God.  Best of luck.

Welcome to the Cali board. You'll find lots of information, support & make lots of friends. I really was nervous before my surgery-in fact a few weeks before. I couldn't even sleep much at all just thinking about it. It's perfectly normal to feel nervous. Get ready for the ride of your life. Good luck with your surgery & let us know how your doing.

HEy Jason - Welcome to the Cali board - this is the best place with the best people.....you are gonna do great - just remember to follow your Drs protocol and do lots of walking and sipping....Can't wait to read that you are an official "loser"

Whooo Hooo! I am still in the beginning stages, but I sure hope to be where you are soon.. I wish you the best of luck on your surgery, and look forward to hearing how your experience was.
