Janine- I am sorry that your wallet got stollen. I hope you did not have too much money in there. But the good thing was your personal affects weren't in there. Also, I hope you feel better.
Cali- I am at work this morning for 4 hours then I have to go back home and pack my bag for tomorrow's race (Suicide Prevention -5K), I am going to try to return a very expensive sports bra at the New Balance store and I might stop into REI and use that 15% coupon before it expires.
After the race, I will going to church to hear my brother and his choir sing in an afternoon service.

My life is fairly boring at the moment. Exercise, plan meals, drink, exercise, sleep. lol
But it's paying off. I walked 31 miles this week. I never would have believed that was possible 6 months ago! Definitely a WOW moment when I totaled my miles.
I'm having tea with a friend this moring..girls morning out.

So sorry to hear about your wallet, Janine. That just SUCKS! Thankfully, it was just only money.... My niece had her house broken into last week and they took a whole file full of her credit cards (along with ooodles of other stuff). Anyway, she was luckily able to get them closed right away, but what a pain in the a$$!
I wish that I could get pampered this weekend, unfortunately- our 13 year old is having a party with her friends tonight for her bday. 80's themed...should be fun, but I have a lot to do today and after I fiddle around on here, I need to get started on the baking. It will be a long day of standing on my feet and I already woke up hurting. OYE!

Good Morning! This morning brings us sleeping in! Ahhhh, I am so going to miss this when I go back to work.
Today we are re-seeding the back yard, fixing the sprinklers and hopefully getting the dustbowl calmed down. We let everything die back there, raked it up, leveled it out and now are ready to reseed. Maybe we'll get.............grass?????
After that we are going to go participate in the highly competitive game of.....minature golf! The one with the MOST strokes, wins. The one who is NOT wet, wins. No score is kept. Lots of fun had.
Gotta get up and moving and walking.

Janine, I have tried to get Matthew to go sleep on the couch, but it doesn't work. The only time he sleeps on the couch is when he's mad because he's not getting any...lol

Well, the sad day has come ... My last Saturday off ... There are pros and cons to being on a rotating schedule, and this is one of the cons. I will not have a Saturday off again until FEBRUARY! Yikes! But I know that time flies and my birthday month will be here before I know it! The good part about this being my last Saturday off is that it's a four-day weekend. Can't complain about that! 
So far for my last Saturday off, I slept until 11:15, then watched some TV and have been lazing around on the couch with my laptop. I just finished showering and shaving my legs (fun stuff) and now I'm headed back to the bathroom to blowdry my hair. And then I am going to buy a new bra! Since I can't get a date (it's kinda hard to get a date when you don't really try), I am spending my last Saturday night off in Northwest Fresno on a ride-along. If you know me even a little, you know that ride-alongs are my favorite favorite favorite activity. I usually go with officers I know, but this one is just an AM buddy (AM = the police department's version of IM). Last weekend I was working some OT and needed to ask him a question about a report I was typing for him, and we just started talking. He seems like a pretty cool guy, so I hit him up for a ride-along. I have only been out in Northwest once and it was about a year ago - my officer was cool and we've been buddies ever since, but it was slowwwww and we didn't do a whole lot more than drive around all night. The officer I'm riding with tonight promises that I will have more fun this time, so now I have very high expectations for him ... And yes, I let him know it!
I posted my newest "progress pic" this morning ... Actually it's not really so much a progress pic as it is an "OMG I AM WEARING A SIZE 18 TOP!!!" pic.
I'm not sure how old I was the last time I fit into an 18 ANYTHING ... Even the dress I graduated high school in is bigger than that.
Okay, it's getting to be time to get off my butt and get things done before I head out to Northwest. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
