support groups

Does anyone know of support groups in the Temecula area?
I live in Anza Valley.
Just wondering.

Cindy..check out the Crown Surgical Group in Murrieta..they have a Bariatric surgicenter and terrific team of doctors and a support group once a month.

HI again Cindy...I have been to one of Crown's support group meetings, it was in Redlands.  Unfortunately i cannot get to these easily as I don't drive the freeway...lol  I don't want to drag my husband along as the designated driver..lol  as he is in meetings all day long at work and does not enjoy the groups.  He is supportive as much as he needs to be, without the groups included..lol  I like the Crown Team..they are one of the best I've been to..I hope you enjoy them also.  I am still pre-op..hopefully for only another couple of weeks.  I've been involved in the support groups around the area for a year now, and the OH is the easiest, friendliest and best for information without waiting for a local group or needing to call an office for non-emergency WLS information. They have meetings in Muiretta, which is pretty close (considerin I live 45 minutes from everything.)
I am glad you are going to meeting pre-op, they really give good information and prespective, since doctors all have different protocals.
I had my surgery June of 2002 and lost 140 lbs, my goal was 130. I broke my akle in 2006 and have not bee able to excersise to to the fact I have had to have several surgeries in fix it, so I gained back about 20 lbs.
When I get done (almost) I am going to lose that 20 lbs.
Enough griping.
