YAY It's Friday...how happy are you?
Good morning Janine and California!
OMGosh, Janine, the mural is really taking shape! I love it. Enjoy your day off, you're hands will love you. ;-) I love that the roadrunner visits regularly. They're one of my favorite birds..when I had a CB radio my handle was California Roadrunner. When I lived in Hollister, we used to go to the pow wows and enjoy the drumming and dancing. It was tranquil experience for me. I think it give one what one needs..taps into your energy. It was a stressful time for me then so I loved going.
Gualala. It's no wonder you haven't heard of it. We're 600 people strong and 2 hours south of Mendocino. If you blink while driving through, you missed it. lol
I did 2 Leslie Walk Away The Pounds videos yesterday. What an invigorating way to start the day! Also walked the river run walk along the river. I’m revved! We visited friends most of the afternoon. I've been quite a recluse while not feeling up to par and it's great to be feeling good out and about again.
I know I mentioned it before..but I LOVE my Polar heart rate monitor! I'm sticking in the fat burning zone. Going back to liquids, exercising more, upping protein and water has really paid off. The pounds are falling off. Rock this waaaaaay!

Ok Janine I wish I had 1/3 the talent you do!! The mural is great!!
As for my boss, yesterday he was in the med room talking to me and the other nurse with the door closed and he actually started yelling traitor at me. The workers outside the door actually opened it and asked if everything was ok. I mean really grow up!! No he wont let me go early, he'll just work me where I would rather not and make my life hell. I can only take so much then I will snap back at him, maybe that will get me released early, lol. I am trying to be the bigger person!!
As for this weekend well for me it is only Saturday. I work 3pm to 3am Sunday. Saturday is the SD lunch, cant wait for that. Have to get my parents cats over to my house. My parents are going for a 2 week Mediteranian cruise, tried to convince them to pack me and take me, but with the weight restrictions that wont work.
Oh well off to exercise and do whatever else I need to until I have to leave for work at 1140. Working 1200-830.

Janine- thank you for the shout out. Yes, I do need to post some pictures of my needlework. Sunday will be my last run before the LB Half on the 12th. Sunday's run will be for suicide prevention - to raise awareness to this serious/ horrible condition (for a lack of a better term). This is very dear to me because my sister committed suicide in 1982 and she killed her 7month old son also. She did not want anyone else to raise him. So I am doing this run in rememberance of my sister, Renee.
The mural is comming along nicely, despite some glitches. You are doing a great job. Thank you for the updated picture.
Cali-other than the run, I will not be doing much. I will get to see my cousin this weekend (((Happy))), because the race is near her house.
Sunday afternoon, I will be going to church to see my brother and his choir sing.
Yes, I did make it to the gym. Weights and rowing machine.

Good Morning All! Today, it's JAYDEN Friday! Yay yay yay! We haven't seen him since the 7th! And, we have him for the next two weekends! Finally heard from Disability - soon, they should give me some $$$$$!
Today brings me my walk and then I'm going to sit and make a couple of blankets. At work we have a charity we sponsor and this year it's Wings of Angels. Our sponsored child/family is a 17 year old with leukemia. One of the blankets I am making is for him, and the other two - a pink john deere and a Giants blanket are for auctioning off. And, it seems the boss in not only showcasing them at his staff meeting but at the corporate staff meetings.
We have a houseguest until October 16th. Joe's friend from Alaska. Nice enough but got some quirky habits. I had a long talk with him yesterday and told him that there are some things I will not have in my house! I will not have him walking around in his underwear. I will not have him sitting in the living room with his 10mm hand gun in his lap. I don't care how paranoid you are, my house and neighborhood are safe, never had a problem. Another one is when I'm watching tv, you do not take the remote and change the channel. He has a tv in his room and has been shown how to use it. And do not talk continuously through tv shows.
Ok, so that was my gripe of the day. I have a fun weekend with my boys planned!!!! Yeah. Party for the kid tonight at 9 down at the bridge. It's a suprise - Jayden doesn't know!

Palm Springs sounds so cool. I still can't believe that I have never been there. The Native American thing sounds really cool. And yes, some people are just idiots....
It is GREAT having Mike home, for sure. I just wish that I could have a least SOME relief with my back pain. I have been living with it for 13+ years now...guess I just have to ride it out. I went and got re-evaluated by the VA and the doctor said "you have a long road ahead of you" in reference to my back problems. Nice, eh? Oh well....c'est la vie.

Morning Friend!
My appt with the nurse went well...did I tell you it was a guy? When he called me saying he'd be my nurse for the day, i was so nervous. But then I thought, "Heck, so many guys in the medical field have seen my cooch these past few months, what's one more?" I was hoping that he'd at least be ugly.....no such luck! I didn't ask him to take pics for me though, I'll do that next week when my regular nurse gets back from her trip. This guy did a good job of making me feel comfortable, and we cuddled and smoked when it was all done................
Today I'll spend getting ready for my one of two yard sales. I'm moving the end of next month. My sister and I are moving in together. It's hard for me, because I love being on my own, but my landlady is selling my place, and this is really financially best for both of us. Parting with some of my things is kinda tough, as I have some nice stuff. Here are a couple pics....
But, ya know it's all "stuff" in the Grand Scheme of things. I just better make some money tomorrow!!! I have a few friends coming to help me out...........bless them!

Wow Janine...when you are finished I plan to drive up there to see that mural live and in person so please let us know. Maybe we can round up and have a few of us cause I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that is the most gorgeous thing I've seen and I MUST see it in person.

Good morning Janine and Cali Crew!! Up a little late this morning, considering I didn't get to sleep until about 2am. Matthew ges really restless and I wind up getting hit and having my hair pulled. I've gone on to being a "battered wife" in his sleep... 
So, I have a lot of food shopping to do today for my Pampered Chef show tomorrow. I am hoping for a great turn out. I already have a few online orders, so that's a great way to start.
Janine, the mural looks amazing so far. I can't wait to see it when it's done.
