Hey Kim,

Same kind of thing happened to me.  They did a stress test on me and the person *****ads the test saw a clog, the cardiologist saw a clog, he showed me the clog and arranged for a angiogram.  Went to have that done and no clog.  I was very happy, shocked as was everyone else, but there was not a clog and I was cleared for surgery.  The heart must have a mind or something of it's own.  Tuttlegirl had the same problem.  It is always better to be safe than sorry.  Get it checked out tomorrow and lets all hope and pray that it is a nothing like mine.  My prayers will be with you.  Keep us posted.

OH my gosh, Rhonda..an angiogram scares the daylights out of me.. .I am willing to get my innards rearranged and knit back together, but I don't want a canula thread up my femoral artery into my heart......oh Lordy...I got shivers!
Plus...although i know that being prepared with a healthy heart is the better decision...I just don't want to wait any longer...but alas...I don't get that call..lol
A very good book could be put together with everybody's stories about their wait to weight loss surgery..lol
Thank you for your concern..Kim in Fontana

Kim,

no no no, I did not write that to scare you at all.  I am so sorry, for some reason I keep putting my foot in my mouth lately.   I was just giving you my story, I am sure that is not going to happen to you.

To tell you the truth for me that whole process was not a big deal.  If I did have a clog that was the big deal.

I am sorry that I scared you, that was not my intent.

No worries m'dear.....I'm a natural sceeerrrdddyyy cat when it comes to invasive procedures..lol  (and I am a nurse to boot!!..lolol) That is why its so funny that the idea of WLS doesn't scare me..lol   If an angio is suggested, I surely will do it, but I'll be grumbling all the way.  I bet there is a 50/50 chance that it will be suggested.  My hubby was telling me that atleast with this occurance, another baseline check-up will be taking place.  I laughed and told him, now, EVERY possible organ on my body HAS been checked..from nose to toes..lol  I got my mammy done, my pappy done, chest/gall bladder xrays, peepee and poopie checked, teeth done (ok..one filling yet to go, but I did get 2 teeth extracted and a partial made).ALL in prep for WLS, I should be good to go soon..lol
You are a DEAR
Thank you, Kim in Fontana
