I've got a date!!!

Congratulations to you  I know how I felt when I was given a date - it just happened so fast. My doctor said two weeks for the liver, in fact the two weeks were rather easy to get through. Tomorrow is my big day and I'm looking forward to it. See you on the losers bench....

HI Michelle...it is a tentative date because I needed a time frame to tell my husband because he is set to retire very soon, within weeks.  He needs to know what time he has available to help me.  My surgeon's office told me what the potential time frame is, when I called  today and I will get a definate answer tomorrow. (Tue).  All my paperwork and tests are ready..they just need to be held in my surgeons hands for a few moments., then I get the phonecall..lol  Soo..just to keep myself in check, I am calling it tentative until I get a posative..lol

Congrats.  I am so happy for you.  YOu will love having this surgery!  Some days you will hate it but most days you will love it.  I will be praying for you.  Have you gotten your angel as of yet?  Make sure who ever it is that you have them keep us updated on you.  I had ThatKimGirl for mine and she was just the best.  YOU WILL GET EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO GET DONE DONE!

Thank you for your happiness for me. I share in people's good news also..I cannot believe I'm on the receiving end of it already!!..although it has been a 2+ year process with many hardships and emotional pain in the meantime. 
Gosh, isn't joy a wonderful thing to spread around..I see soo much of it here and it appears so truly sincere.  I love this site. 
I actually do not know what an "angel" is regarding this procedure.  I see it all the time, but I haven't read on it.  Do I have one in the wings??..lol   Do I chose door 1, 2, or 3??..lol  Is my name drawn from a basket??  If I am deserving of an Angel..I hope I meet mine soon, I don't have a circle of Bari-friends too much, we did not keep in touch with each other after class.  (grad of 10/31/07 class, Kaiser Fontana) Some did, but I was very shy and just knew 1 lady personally, but she doesn't belong to this forum and I see her once in awhile at a support meeting at Kaiser Fontana.  You know what is so funny??..The pre-op diet is the easiest part so far..lol
