Can you Help?
Hello Cali!
As some of you know I have taken on the challenge of doing my first marathon. Yes, 26.2 miles. I am currently 9 weeks post op and looking forward to completing the marathon. Thanks to Scott on the boards (whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet) I was introduced to APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles) which helps prepare you for this amazing journey. This is such a worthy cause, and I would like to ask for your support. I have made a personal commitment to raise at least $1,600 by Friday, December 19, 2008 - and I hope to raise even more. Any contribution you can make would mean a great deal to me. Contributions are tax-deductible and will make a huge difference in the lives of thousands of people living with AIDS. I am hoping that my online support system will help me on my journey. Here is the link to my page: http://www.aidsmarathon.com/participant.aspx?runner=LA-2084& Year=2008&EventCode=LA09 Thanks! LolaP.S. If you can't donate ask me how you can help in other ways.
Also, please pass along the link to friends and family. Thanks!
