Hello Cali!

As some of you know I have taken on the challenge of doing my first marathon. Yes, 26.2 miles. I am currently 9 weeks post op and looking forward to completing the marathon. Thanks to Scott on the boards (whom I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet) I was introduced to APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles) which helps prepare you for this amazing journey. This is such a worthy cause, and I would like to ask for your support. I have made a personal commitment to raise at least $1,600 by Friday, December 19, 2008 - and I hope to raise even more. Any contribution you can make would mean a great deal to me. Contributions are tax-deductible and will make a huge difference in the lives of thousands of people living with AIDS. I am really proud of you for undertaking this so soon out from surgery. What amajor goal and I cannot praise you enough....you are doing something that will benifit so many.!!!

Lola, I am totally, impressed You ROCK! I would love to help out and will as soon as my check comes in. I lost a very dear friend many years ago to AIDS. SO I want to say thank you for what you are doing. And so sooon after surgery.
