PCP in Sacramento?

I am in the process of waiting for approval through my insurance company, and my regular PCP was been supportive. However, with just about everything else, I am pretty unhappy. He/his office is ridiculously unresponsive for minor as well as emergency issues and there are constant mistakes with my prescriptions etc.

I am looking for a new PCP in the Sacramento area that is WLS friendly. That I can use going forward. Any suggestions?

Thanks all!
Jen

Hi Jen,

I'm not sure what type of Insurance you have but what I would do is call your WLS's office and ask the which PCP's that they have been working with are the best at being supportive and have other WLS patients.

They know who the good ones are.  If not PM me and my doctor is in Roseville and I can give you her name/phone.  I just love her.  she's kind, and patient, makes sure that I understand everything and takes the time to talk to me.  For the most part it is she who calls me back herself as well and i like that.

Good Luck!  Jeni

Thanks for the sugestion. Unfortunatly, I am having surgery in Auburn at Sierra Bariatrics so most of his patients are from that area.

I would love the name of your Dr if you don't mind sending me an email?

Thanks again!
Jennifer

We now have Kaiser, but for years used Dr.Socolov, on Scripts Dr.  The Nurese Prac. named Barbara was VERY WLS friendly..  Good office staff too...
