Hi Cali Board.

I am having my surgery 10/24.  It was recommended that I try the Isopure drinks due to the high protein content. I am wondering if any of you buy these and if so where is the best place to get them at the best price?

Vitamin Shoppe has them.  They are pretty expensive.  I think it is like $45 for 12 bottles.  The bottles are 20 oz for 40 grams of protein.

Hope that helps. !

My thoughts on the isopureI bought 1 bottle to try it out and it was nasty, the after taste was even worse. And it is expensive! Just my opinion but there it is.
Good Luck with your surgery

Thanks.  I was going to buy 1 at GNC, just to taste.  I am hoping I like them as that is a LOT of protein and would be helpful.  If I do I knew GNC was expensive so I will compare their price with Vitamin Shoppe.

Thanks again!

I personnally can only drink the isopure drinks, because I am lactose intolerant. I dont care for the teas or grape but the rest COLD are excellent for 40g of protein. Some flavors I even will add a splenda or two. I get mine at GNC at the first of the month went they are 20% off and I have brought them in Vitamin shoppes pricing and they will match it, and mix cases of several flavors.Enjoy!

I haven't tried Isopure because I haven't seen it anywhere, but I am a big fan of Designer Whey chocolate protein powder mixed with almond milk (I buy them both at Trader Joe's). I've been told you can mix the Designer Whey with water but I haven't tried that yet. Yesterday I sampled a protein drink at Costco and I love it ... It's called Click ... It's an espresso-flavored protein drink that is made to be mixed with water. The protein content is not all that great (I think it's like 15g for two scoops, which makes a 12-ounce drink) but the flavor is great ... The can was $16.99, but I figure if I'll actually drink it then it's worth the money.

I hate Isopure they taste pretty nasty, I use unjury unflavored with crystal light, then there is nectars roadhouse lemonade which is also good but I add crystal light to that too.
