hi Becky,

Well it sounds pretty good that you will be offered the one.  I hope, I hope!  I would do anything to get my foot, toes, arms, legs and whatever in the door.  Right now with the economy the way it is I would take anything that I could physically and mentally do.

Most employers pull from the part-time employees first when they need full time, it's less training for them.  I'm still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!  I was thinking about you driving into work this morning in fact!

With that sweet smile and great personality of yours I would think you would be great working with the public.  Go get'em Girl!!!

That's funny that you mention about the economy because she asked me in the first interview, why I wanted to work in a Casino and one of the reasons I gave was... that in today's economy, I want a job with a secure company and Casinos definitely don't seem to be hurting even with today's economy!!! Along with the fact that it is the best of the SD casinos *imho!!!

You are too sweet!! Thanks for all the compliments, confidence in me and good thoughts and prayers!!! I really appreciate them very much!!! I LOVE working with the public and am a definite people person!!!
bigg huggs, Becky

I think it sounds like it went well, honestly.  Sounds like everyone liked you (who couldn't?) and you have the skills.  I think once you get a foot in the door, it will happen.  :)  I'll rub Buddha's head again for you and send good juju's your way.  :)  Sounds like it went well though hon :)  oxoxox

Hi Becky
I agree with the others - take the PT job if its offered to get that foot in the door......and if starbucks happens maybe that too....GOod luck and I am saying lots of prayers for ya....I would totally think any employer would hire from within for a full time position.

I have never been to that casino - guess if you get the job I might have to make a venture down there....is it also a hotel or just a casino?

It is just a casino right now, but they are building the hotel right now, it is scheduled for 2010. They do have the best buffet in all of the SD casinos. Dinner has crab legs, lobster, and prime rib or steak, and a million other things too! And they have the best SF choc. choc chip cookies that are to die for!!! Don't taste SF at all!!! lol
thanks for the suggestions and prayers sweetie!!!
