Totally gross question sorry....

I am sure there is another forum to ask this question in, but I just feel much more comfortable asking this here.

okay...

I am 3 weeks out today. And all of a sudden (today)  I have this massive diarrhea! I am pooping out more then I have eaten in the last 2 days! lol
Am I dumping? I feel fine other then the poops. Or is this just my "new" way of poo-ing?

So sorry for the question...lol

Well, I don't really know how to answer this, but I don't think it is dumping! Pooping definitely changes after WLS and it could just be your system getting use to things.
Wish I could be of more help, but just wanted to say that, NO question is dumb or should make you feel uncomfortable asking it! That is what we are here for!!! If you can't ask us, who can you ask?? lol

This happens to me from time to time also. I don't think that it is dumping, I think that somedays the system is just more sensitive that others. Usually for me it is after my morning SF Vanilla Coffee. I think that it is probally a little too much creamer in the coffee, but who knows. I just look at it as a good cleaning out! LOL As long as it doesn't continue for more than a hour or two I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just drink lots of H2O so that you don't get dehydrated, and mention it to your doctor next visit. If it does last longer or occur more often, call your doctors office! Better to be safe than sorry. Hope that this helps!

I have the same problem most of the time.  I did find out that certain protein drinks did it to me, so did protein bars, eating the wrong food and dumping, I only had a tummy ache and ran to the rest room.  If it continues call your doctor

I wish I had that problem.  I have to take dulcolax every 3 days.  I used to be a very regular twice a day.  My innards are messing with me for moving things around. lol

I used to be regular also, lol. Now its like every 2 days, and then it takes 2 days to get it out. Except today, lol.

Hey GF, I will trade you!! I had to take M.O.M cause it has been way tooo longggg for me. Between the time releasped morphine, traveling and WLS. nothin's movin' Sorry things are movin' to well for you. I did have that happen right after surgery but it hasn't happened since.
Don't worry about being gross...shoot, everyone and I do mean everyone does it!!

Now to change the subject... I will be at Nut class on the 23rd. I was hoping that after class you, me and Gina could go for water,tea or coffee. I got to have my first cup of coffee on the plane. It was Java City coffee and soooo good!!

If you are  still going about 4:00 I would give the Dr. office a call.

yeah same class! the 23rd at 9am!! i have no problem going out for something, Matt will be on swing shift that week, so he has the baby.
