Good morning Lisa and everyone in Cali!

Hope you are feeling better soon.  The endoscope should be no big deal and it sounds like a scan either CT or ultrasound should be no problem for you as well.  Hope everyone out there has a fun week end.  Not too much going on here, except for watching the USC vs. Ohio State game with hubby.

Have a great week end everyone!

Good morning Lisa & California!

I sure hope you feel better soon, Lisa.

I walked part of the river run, 2.44 miles.  My knee hurt the last ¼ mile.  That last downhill is a killer.  I’m still not doing the whole thing until my knee doesn’t hurt.  I did the 1 mile Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds and some marching while watching TV.

I made a “Cheer Me Up” webpage listing all the things that have changed since surgery, things to do to cheer me up and photos from before and after surgery.  I’m armed for my next blue period.  Back off blues!  Than you to everyone who contributed!  In case any other newbies want to make their own "Cheer Me Up" list here's mine to get you started.

Things To Do

  • try on 4X clothes
  • pull out 4X and lay current size next to them for comparison
  • look at photos along the way
  • look at measurement file
  • take new measurements
  • take new photos and compare to before surgery

Things That Have Changed Since Surgery

  • I can tie my shoes without hiking my foot up on the bed or couch
  • I can kayak
  • I no longer need CPAP
  • I no longer have diabetes
  • I'm no longer morbidly obese

Pre and Post Surgery Photos

I have nothing planned today but exercise.

Have a great weekend,

Morning Lisa and Cali crew!!!

Sorry you still aren't feeling well. I hope these tests show what is bothering you and the fix is easy!!!  I think both procedures are easy and if it is a stricture, they will probably fix it during the endoscopy!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!  bigg huggs, Becky

Surgery was RNY 5/21/07...I can be found on Facebook: anewbecboo or Becky Reddick
