Things are looking alot better. I lost 3 lbs which is good, because it's all fluid. The packing in the wounds is a color that I won't go into detail about, but it has them a bit concerned about a possible infection arising. To keep on top of things, they are changing the solution they use when they pack the wounds....it is now a saline solution mixed with bleach......ouch? This will serve to kill the bacteria, and hopefully avoid any infection. 3 of the wounds are very deep (8-13 cm), so it is crucial that they not get infected. Now the bad news: The dr has me off work for another month, which means that I can't go bac****il Ocotber 30th. This is not good for many reasons. God has plans in everything, so I just trust that in all of this, He'll take good care of me. He hasn't let me down yet, so no reason to fret....other than the fact that I am Janel, and worrying is my middle name. Anyway, I'm going to go and lie down now......sigh. If any of you want to come and visit, my door it literally open, I'd love to see you. Nothing weird is hanging out of my body, and I am wearing clothes now, so no need to worry about heaving when you see me!!!

Ugh! Hang in there. If I lived closer I'd come over and we could "heal" together. Get some rest. That's all you can do at this point!

Sorry about the work thing, but your health has to come first and like you said, God knows what He's doing. It's just hard to remember that sometimes, or ok, maybe all the time!!! lol

The were awesome in getting rid of an infection I had several years ago. My doctor gave me 2 different anitbiotics that didn't touch the infection. The Wound Care Center had the infection gone within 3 weeks. They really know wounds. I saw Dr. Richard Ornelas.

As with other I do wish I lived closer cause I'm a great hugger and you need one. God's plan is in motion and know all you have to do is wait on it to be revealed. In the meantime, just REST and HEAL and BELIEVE and RELAX.
