Well I was one of the people who initially took it seriously. However, after a bit it was quite obvious you all were joking.

That being said, and in defense of those who initially did think you were serious... There are a lot of new people around who don't know, or know of, you all. Why would they not take it serious? In fact, if you had friends PMing you both asking if you were okay, obviously they took it seriously, too. So, objectively, I can see how some people could have intially taken the bantar seriously.

Now for those of us who have been around a while... we've seen this stuff happen, sadly, for real. In fact my initial thought was, here we go again, this is why I choose not to post.

For those who thought it appropriate to send you all nasty messages, accuse you all of being unsupportive, and stand in judgement, etc... that's too bad. I sincerely hope my post didn't come across that way, as that wasn't the intent. My intent was a suggestion to take your disagreement private.

You all are some of the most suppotive people around here. Think about how many people you've got thinking about running with your crazy bantar. And, I do think anyone who thinks about running is crazy! But, that's just my opinon.

Patty, you and CIndy, had your say right here on the page. You didn't take it to PM's. You where very open about your feelings.  And when I told you was in fun, you understood. This is not about you. That is why I tried very hard to make it clear about PM's. Its to let some know they did not get the best of me, and I am not going to let them beat me down. That person is no longer apart of me.

Just so you know, I know I am crazy for running. I tell myself that all the time. But then I am not a runner, I walk and crawl. LOL But I will also admit, I do have fun, at times. LOL So you are right in opinon, about me anyway.

I'm sorry that some people were mean and hurtful.  I'm glad mine didn't come across that way.  I was a tad irritated but never mad at anyone.   I tend to speak my mind, a little too much sometimes (just ask Bryan).  I think you are one of THE most supportive people on the board, hence why I never said YOU were unsupportive, just that it could be taken that way by those that don't know you. 

I hope we are "good", so to speak.

Have a great weekend...and Bryan says don't spend too much energy on the ring, it's not that big of deal.

Ok...I finally got caught up with the work I didn't do yesterday since I spent so much time playing here!  LOL

I can see how in the beginning people might not have realized we were joking around with each other.  I got a few calls and texts from people wondering what I did...and asking if it was a joke.  It did however become quite apparent further down that we were not serious.  It's sad that people felt the need to attack you personally.....it was NOT necessary at all.   I am not as active here as I used to be, but you are around EVERYDAY!  People should be able to see how supportive and kind you are to everyone.....even when you are brutally honest..LOL.   It's obvious that people were interested in the "drama" whether they thought it was for real or not...did you check out the number of views?  Wow!!!  Yes...there has been real drama here before...but that's when people need to just stay out of it.   We all have a choice to decide what to read and what not to read...what to be involved in or not.   With over 1000 views....I can't believe that the majority didn't realize what was really going on.....I have to think most were getting some laughs for the day.  And if they didn't finally realize...that was a wrong choice to keep checking back and contacting you privately to add their two cents. 
 

All I can say is that yesterdays fun and games seemed to bring some lurkers back....both on the post and privately...which I personally am very happy about.  It was nice to hear from old friends here.  They said that it was nice to see people having FUN here!  :-)   I intend to live each day to the fullest and have as much FUN as I can everyday! 

Sorry if anyone felt offended by what was going on....that definitely was not our intention.

 I was told once that running kills brain cells!  You should try it!  LOL

 

Gee Lu, I'm so sorry that people took your fun out of context and were so mean to you!!! I thought it was quite entertaining myself and joined in your fun!!!  And I loved it when Rhonda put you all in "time out", that would be just like the mom in her!!! lol

Don't let them get to you sweetie! We know who you are and what you are about, and enjoy your fun!!!  Just sic Fesser on them!!! lol
